Some guys from the east coast I talking about running a major on the same weekend. Someone should make a thread in the Tournament section so they see it. Hopefully they’ll consider a different weekend so I can attend both.

There definately needs to be a thread in the Tournament section. Every time I check this thread I always wonder why its not there. We need to build some hyyyyyypeeeeee. Gonna tell everyone around here to register. Gonna try to get dat marvel players to register too.
It does suck though that the ECC replacement/C3 is on the same day… damn I miss Five Guys :sad:.

I’ll bust out a little NWM icon for the site. I’m fucking hyped. I can hold my own in GG now and I’m almost positive I’ll place top 3 in third strike. Please believe. For some reason I never get less raw at that game, but if I don’t play other games I get rusty @ them. Too bad I suck at ST. So do we need people to volunteer to run certain games tourneys?

EDIT: i registered anyway for cvs2, 3s, and st, but im just saying that the dreamcast version does in fact LAG.
What? It says Dreamcast? Okay even I know we can’t use that version. I give you my word that I will not let that happen. CvS2 will be PS2, that’s probably just a mistake as Brent doesn’t play the game or anything AFAIK.
I asked around to a few people, and they all said it didn’t lag, but I still had a feeling. So yeah, we can do it on PS2.

paint the fence lags on a few stages. samy and hsibrad have seen this although they dont think its a big deal.
EDIT: it doesnt lag that was the wrong word. the fps drops and the game slows down, making it tougher to keep a constant rhythm for paint the fence.
…and here I thought the only difference was the sprites being more pixelated on the PS2 version was the onlu difference.
So… Who is running the Tournament? I know the Date and Room are set up. Is anything else?
I’m mostly wondering about this for Guilty Gear. Since I haven’t heard of who is running the brackets and stuff. But I haven’t seen who is running ANY of the tournaments really other than Brent has set up everything. So I just kinda want to figure out who is running it. If no one is running GG yet. I’ll run it. But I just want it to run smooth.
Deezo, Axel, XTG and Doughboy have agreed to help run the brackets. I know they have a lot of experience seeding players, running tourney’s and working with a double-elim bracket.
Hmm… Alright. That works. I’m going to post the topic on Dustloop then. So people can plan to travel to Seattle and stuff.
