Good lookin’ out homies.This is the truth. Super is pretty cool though, it’s definitely a step in the right direction. How could you NOT play a fighting game so popular? I don’t think there’s ever been a fighting game with so many people consistently playing. Too good to pass up. Good competition is what it’s all about, whether I like the core gameplay mechanics (I fuggin type mechanica every time) or not.

so this dude i work with works freelance as a photographer, and i invited him to come and take pics @ NWM.
He has had his pics in some local mags, and he has all that fancy camera stuff too, so he said he would be down, for free.

Agreed! I say GG but no blazblue. It will help if the issue is the weird bb kids that people are creeped out by. Not quite as many… characters… in the GG scene.

EDIT: On the other hand I feel like there are rarely any upsets in gg tourneys, same players finish high every time (forgive me if I’m wrong, I’ve stopped paying attention)… that coupled with the fact most people don’t know what’s going on means it’s not gonna be that hype.

I got Super last week & i still haven’t opened it yet. I dont know, i just dont see the point of investing time & energy on something i dont like playing at all. As for competition, there’s no arcade here in Olympia with SFIV. I grew up playing arcades where i play actual people most of the time rather the CPU. There were always a new challenger from the time i get there till it closes…I hated SFIV online, but i hear SSIV is a lot better, so i might check that out…

Maybe im just getting old, i probably would have been all over this if i was younger w/ less responsibility. But right now, its all about convenience & what makes me happy…That’s HDR!

Being a GG player, I’m not sure how much my opinion will mean on this, but I have to disagree with that first statement. Having met some of the newer BB players, I don’t feel they are any “weirder” than the GG players I’ve met (Insert “Well-you’re-a-GG-player-so-you’re-weird-too” argument here). Besides, you’d probably end up seeing a lot of the same people no matter which of the two games were supported.

BB players gave up their spot for Evo (since it would be an old version) so that PS3 could still have MVC2… is there even really a demand for MVC2 if it’s not on Dreamcast? Unless California’s got something lined up, I think this would be the first opportunity for them to have the latest title at a Major.

As someone who didn’t play at Bloody Knuckles and showed up late just to spectate, I guess I’m not sure what went down.
