If you like KOF the best comp I have found is in Megamall by the ice skating rink with the baklas, they’re pretty good. There is no such thing as arcade ST in Manila, I tried EVERYWHERE (there is a busted aniversary edition at that mall across the street from Trinoma). There is some Marvel to be had though, if you are from Seattle you should be stomping people there pretty handily, they play at a WAYYY slower pace.

when did you play in the PI? that’s tight. i played SFIV when i was there. out of all the arcades i went to there i only found one cab though and it was at glorietta 5. other than that, there was just hella tekken 6 cabs for no reason.

Man i didn’t get a chance to play you at Portland, i also didn’t get a chance to play Coles Sim…Anyway, im way too rusty right now. I haven’t played HDR since Bragging Rights & before that i didn’t play for a month. Im going to start practicing though for NWM, i wasnt prepared at all especially being my first tournament…Im hoping to do better this time around.
I’m pretty sure Elias has said many times that he doesn’t like SFIV much, but plays it because it’s what big right now.

I asked once SSFIV arcade was announced, and there is next to no chance that any arcade in the PI is going to get one…too expensive, and SFIV wasn’t a big enough draw there to warrant an upgrade…
This goes for me too. I only enjoy beating people in SFIV who actually like the game, it gives me a sick satisfaction. :sad:
Same thing with Third Strike… it’s the second worst competitive fighter of all time IMO (That of course, would be CvS2), but I pick Twelve, the worst character in the game, and occasionally beat people who actually care about the game, then brag about it for years.
SFIV Vanilla had just come out at Tacoma Narrows when I was in Manila, so I actually played it after almost everyone did. I was PISSED there were so many arcades in Manila at the time and none had SFIV…

It was SO FUCKING GROSS how many Tekken 6 cabinets there are in Manila, you would think that game was actually tight or something, WTF… and me sitting at lonely as KOF 2k2 and VF5 and KOF: MIRA machines with no comp.
