Pablo instead of calling out a scene, call out the individuals. Cause I’m getting fucking tired of these iggnorant marvel fucks that think they know the situation, but since they aren’t in the sfiv scene they don’t know fucking shit. Yet still try to sit there and flex thinking that every little bad thing that happens up here is sfiv’s fault. We can’t control who plays the game. Bad apples will always be in a scene (including the "I am holier than thou"marvel scene). And while they might not be bad apples when they are around other games, they constantly fuck up in ours. So again, if you don’t know the business don’t parade like you do.

I think it bears repeating. Shit like this needs to stop, from all angles. SFIV, Marvel, XBL UNO, what the fuck ever, if you’re riffin stop, or take that shit to PM. You wanna know the difference between Seattle and say, NYC? They can have their dirty laundry all over SRK, but when it’s time to throwdown and show and prove, they get the job done. It’s them against everyone else. I’m just saying, don’t let bullshit distract you (everybody that plays SFIV) from what we should really be concentrating on.
And I do agree with what Frank said. People seem to get this stupid ass impression of SFIV (and the people that play it) due to all the drama that comes with it. That’s people wanting to prove themselves in a new game (one that matters) that actually has more than a small handful of playable characters. I’d say it’s healthy with moderation, as it shows that people care. I don’t see it as a Marvel vs SFIV thing, but if it really is like that, not only is it stupid, it’s fuckin silly. It’s not even a competition, word? What a fall from grace, it almost makes me wanna put Marvel out of it’s misery. What was there, like six entrants for Marvel at Random Select? Then there was only like 19 at NWM? I guess I find it nonsensical to hate when a game nearly has 10x the entrants your favorite game has. Let’s be real, I beg of you.

P.S. I’m going to be honest, this Marvel vs. SFIV argument is similar to the CS1.6 v CS:S arguments. You can’t compare (especially in MvC2 vs. SFIV) the games because they are NOT the same. Different mechanics, different character match-ups, different strategies. I think a lot of that has to do with people who play Marvel are still good at SFIV, what’s to say that makes the game “shitty” to say the least?
I really am going to just stop posting entirely on SRK if it continues and people can’t see that posting things like that is elitist. No offense to anyone who plays Marvel, because I have yet to actually touch on the game, but don’t show a negative side toward a game you don’t like or don’t feel like playing.
Sure Mandel posted about the numbers in SFIV compared to MvC2, yeah, shits a landslide, but that doesn’t mean Marvel is not still a good game. I mean it’s been out for what? 9 years? CS1.6 was out before then and still has the largest following of all FPS competitive games.

I need to make more GGG avs, I have another Girls one but haven’t made any Guns or Gorillas yet; I could do a Gorillaz one though and that’d be pretty sweet.
Any time they backflip out counts as a reset really. And yeah, there will always be better options but goddamned if I don’t love inefficient stuff that looks cool as hell. And the version I’m doing allows for Sakura-esque crossup shenanigans so it would be good after a moderate-length combo, especially if it went into stun and then the Focus Attack.

I think that alot of these problems and arguments would not occur if everyone did their best to refrain from generalizing about…well, anything. Its pretty silly and serves no purpose other than to piss off the people, and perhaps rightfully so, that are being generalized into a group or certain behavior that may not actually fit this all encompassing mold.
