anyone else run into some fuggin characters while leaving tacoma? this crazy guy was hanging around pasqual/panda’s car desperately asking us for ‘help’. He didn’t need a ride he just needed ‘a hand’. It was awkward.
Also on a lighter note I was talking to those Play n Trade guys (really nice guys) and they were talking about having a tourney at one of their places I suggested Kirkland I think because that’s a pretty neutral spot for most people. That car setup they had was pretty tight plus those dual modded sticks they had were smart and nice (sad they didn’t have any characters unlocked on the setups though).
The theme outside the building was “Wtf, Tacoma?” Stupid, confusing city, with the weirdest people (in a bad way). This one guy greeted me, so I said “yo” in passing, and he’s like, “yo?” Wtf is wrong with yo. >_> Christ.
Finding Jack in the Box randomly was the only luck we had the whole time.
The theme inside the building was “Wtf, Canada?” in a good way.^^ You guys are impressive, and I didn’t even know Canada would be there.

Fortunately Ghrrk had enough heart to help drive me to my car so I didn’t get mugged on the way out from the venue.
Come to Salem. Once the clock hits 9 (on weekdays) and like…7 on weekends, the city goes black pretty much.
Even I was suprised to find myself helping someone. It must of been the thick musk of tacoma, like a disgusting pheromone I was driven insane for a small period of time I can hardly remember.

EDIT: Ok, people need to realize it was in fact the who I saw I put on the team, team. I needed to make a team out of those who I did not think were in consideration for another team early on to give the other captains leeway for their choices.
James D, if that guy had showed up in time, he would have been on the team instead of me so for that I’m sorry James, even though you haven’t said anything I feel bad about it nonetheless for not calling you to show up earlier.
Mandel, thank you for calling for a stop to the beef cause this is getting out of hand for something that really was a trial process.
You guys who are still beefing need to come to terms with the fact that this was a big tourney with all the problems other tourneys have as well, I consider the way this was run as smoothly as it did to be a marvel in itself.
So all in all like what was said before, stop the beefing here this is the NWM thread if you have personal beef with ANYONE take it to PM’s.

I have a beef with how you haven’t posted the brackets for pool C of SFIV or any of the brackets you have in Tio format either. Please scan the pool C bracket and take a screenshots of the KoF12, BB, and GG:ACP brackets, then send the images to me so that I can link to them in the results thread for this event.
Tacoma was aight. On the way in, we asked this lady with a Burka for directions and then this dude pulled up behind us and started honking his horn when he could have clearly gone around. She was like “don’t go, let him honk. That’s what they do around here.” So we tried to wave him around and he just honked with more anger. Lawrence was getting pretty pissed and then finally the guy went around and gave us the finger, which Lawrence kindly returned. Burka Lady was hella nice.
I think people should go re-read my post of what it takes to be a champion and get that weak shit out here. This bitch status moaning and complaining is horrible and wasting my time, which equals money. Why must SFIV rear its ugly sand in vagina attitude every goddamn time and ruin and good thing. I hate the game, but not as much as I hate all the bullshit fake ass beef nobody gives a fuck about. Get all that favoritism, cliquey, nut swinging bullshit out of here. Handle it like adults and the scene will be much better because of it.

I personally believe organizing times/meets in PMs is fine, but do not continue baiting people out. I would like to say with 3 days notice prior to the event, Paul did as well a job as anyone. No one can take that away from him (You can try, but you’d be wrong after my next sentence) because no one else took up the call/brought up the idea with Brent and got it cleared.
Lets be happy we have someone in the community such as Brent that caters to our competitive needs by hosting NorthWest Majors. This was the second event? Sad I missed the first one, but I’m sure you understand back then, I was a wee noob fragging people in CS.
I will contribute again to next year, be it man-power, horny goatweed candies, or even le buttsehcks (French for awesome attitude).
