I don’t think there really is a general bias against SF4 scene from the Marvel crowd.

I just got done editing the first round of the 5 on 5. I had a lot of fun editing this stuff since its really different doing it in iMovie as well as not doing a timelapse of snow haha.

Any brackets not already linked in the results thread are in Paul Lee’s possession. Since I haven’t heard from him in nearly 2 weeks on the matter, I don’t know if we’ll ever see them posted. If you’re really interested, PM Paul, not me.
How come I haven’t seen any tournament reports? I know a few of you guys have blogs, and at least one of you has access to post on the SRK property page. A brief write-up of your tournament experience can help influence the powers that be when we ask to make NWM '10 an EVO qualifier. Plus, they’re a joy to read for other attendees.
I could write one up myself. But I would have to fill it with lies to make it interesting, since my day went like this:
03:30AM Brian Ma arrived after work, watched TV, passed out on the couch. I popped a sleeping pill, went to bedroom, locked the door, and slept.
05:49AM Brent called me to wake me up.
05:53AM Slapped myself awake, called Brent back, he told me that his engine light came on so he would not be hauling zass’ candy cab to NWM, and reminded me to bring all the stuff that we already agreed that I would bring.
06:00AM Couldn’t sleep. Packed 3 TVs, 3 Dreamcasts, 2 extension cables, converters, DC controllers and mem cards, Pop Tarts, drinks in a cooler, and various other essentials into Brian’s car.
06:20~09:30AM Paced around the house doing nothing. Contemplated drinking to help fall asleep. Played Plants vs. Zombies.
09:31AM Took a shower and got dressed.
09:50AM Made breakfast for two, kicked Brian awake.
10:13AM Called dann, he confirmed that he did indeed want to go, and wanted a ride. Told us to pick him up at church at 10:30.
10:20AM Disembarked.
10:27AM Arrived at church parking lot to wait for dann, since he refuses to let us see where he lives.
10:30~10:50AM Repeatedly left angry voicemails for dann.
11:04AM Getting gas at 125th & Auroroa, dann called to complain that we’re not waiting for him at the church.
11:55AM Arrived at venue, trying to ignore the Tacoma aroma. Helped get 2 casual stations for Marvel going, played 1 game of Marvel, got crushed.
12:13PM Oversaw the geriatrics ward known as the HDR tournament.
01:30PM~02:30PM Kidnapped Beasley. Forced him to taxi me to Subway for food. Ate outside front of venue. Played 2 games of Marvel, beating Pablo and getting raped by Nolan. Used facilities, prepped for the pandemonium.
03:00PM~01:30AM Pandemonium ensued. Sad at low Marvel turnout. Wanted to murder SFIV designers for making such a slow game. Upper back and feet hurt like hell during clean up.
02:10AM Arrived home. Brian passed out on the couch once more. Made ramen for first time in recent memory because I was too lazy to cook real food.
02:20AM Began posting results.
05:40AM Fell asleep.
10:26AM Woke up. Cursed Brent for calling me the previous morning.
You could write up a charming article about the camaraderie of fighting game players gathering for a social event. Or, you could time stamp your activities like I did above. But unlike the above, make your experience sound pleasant. If you’re a good writer, get Blake to post your article on SRK’s front page. Or write something up for seattleversus.
SeattleVersus is slippin, no NWM coverage, no PAX coverage… Is the death of zach’s place the nail in the coffin?

I’ll write something up. I’ll try and have it done by the end of the week. Work takes up my time, yo.
Of course, I didn’t really do anything spectacular at NWM other than show up, but still. I’ll try and come up with something.
I’ll try to whip something up. Numerous graveyards and the marathon of insomnia of pax and work has pretty much turned my sleeping schedule nonexistent.
I figured it was jsut because it’s hard to beat that pic of Zach Morris.
