To do this, we need:
1: 3 SDtvs
2: 1 HDTV
3: 2 or 3 tables
4: A/V Splitter w/4 AV cables
5: 6 available power slots (minimum)
So I’d rather not bring my TV as it sucks, is huge (in the bad CRT way), heavy as fuck, and the color/picture is not very good. I can probably adjust the colors though… But in a pinch I can bring it if we’re really low, but I need big strong manly men to carry it for me. My chiropractor doesn’t want me carrying heavy things, not to mention I already tweaked my wrist doing it anyway. Either a rolling cart or some tv-carrying slaves are required for me to lug my TV. Hopefully we have enough though, I honestly just don’t want to. :lol:
Does anyone have a laptop I could use to run the tournament?
I am going to bring a small LCD monitor (doubles as a smaller tv) and ps2 setup, but it’s mainly gonna be dedicated to melty blood (since there seems to be a fair amount of interest in it from the GG community). however i’ll bring all my games so if needed it can be used for 3rd strike or GGAC+ (if someone has a disc for it).
am i still committed to commentating GG, BB, and 3s? just making sure.

Can I commentate on Blazblue and MvC2? I feel like those are the only two games that I know enough about to not sound stupid while talking about them.

I actually really like that layout, it reminds me a bit of the gods garden layout when they had two tvs connected to one PS3 using a powered HDMI splitter.

Yo so I was just talking to Emmanuel and it brought up a question… if I didnt register online what time do I have to be there tomorrow to register? I wasnt planning on showing up until a few hours before SF4 starts but he said he thinks final registration is at 11.

James (LogicHoleFlaw) is loaning his HDTV, which is the size of a small bus (no, really) and is also bringing his sound system. We packed it for 1 /12 hours today.
We lag tested it when running on PC and gaming mode, and it seemed fine, but if it is just being used for displays it doesn’t matter anyway. I will talk to you about the set up when I get there.
Ray, what time you planning on being up here? I’ll be at Venue close to 9 to set up all my gear so let me know if you need help with the wiring and what not.
Still bummed we can’t get working internet there. I might see just how badly I can piss off ATT and see if I can get decent speed with my iphone cause I’m going to need it to upload pics
I hope you didn’t update your iPhone recently, I heard the 3.1 update breaks the tethering hack. I haven’t verified this personally though.
