Okay so I called again just to verify things and I found out some more information
we dont have to pay 10 dollars to get in or to have a membership, and we can in fact bring our own equipment according to the person I talked to today. The person I talked to yesterday was talking to me about what members get, not necessarily what I wanted to know.
however heres the kicker:
if youre a member its 4 dollars an hour **per person. **I was planning on just paying for the session myself until I found that out.
if you are not a member its 5 an hour, per person.
I’ve got family in Lake Ariel, so I’m in the area sporadically. If this becomes a regular thing I’d love to meet up w/ some knowledgeable people for some offline. I’ve got a TE stick and a 360 gamer profile w/ HDR, UMK3, MvC2, and some MvC3 and SSFIV goodies, if we can get the console online.
I live in the Poconos with only a select handful of people that actually play fighters seriously. If I’m able to, I’ll let one of you know if I can make it out there with a friend or 2.

Where in the Poconos? I’ve been in the Poconos since 2000 until last month. I’ve only ever found this dude Tom who used to beat me at Marvel 2, and he worked in the arcade in the Stroud Mall… but that was before I learned how to play… This dude Mike who was pretty OK, and I think he worked at Sears… and this dude Alex who was nice at SC2 and Tekken, but couldn’t hold a dime to me in 3S. HONESTLY… nobody in the Poconos can hold a dime to me in Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 3, and Marvel 2. I don’t know about the newer games, but after about 2k3 when I started competing at Evolution, people just would avoid playing me completely if they could, unless it was Soul Calibur or Tekken.
I wont be able to make it today. I couldn’t take care of my stuff last night. Phone broke, so I was at Verizon all night getting a replacement. Still game on another session, ESPECIALLY if one can go down next Friday as well, the 10th. I have zero things going on next weekend.
unless we can get another person to commit by 4ish, im gonna have to cancel as well. Right now we only have myself and Zast going, and it wouldnt be worth it for just two people imo.

my best games are ssf4 and hd remix. I dabble in 3s, garou and ive played blazblue & tekken 6 like twice haha.

i keep wanting to try to get into blazblue, i had it when it came out, but it was really unbalanced imho, supposedly they put alot of work into it and it’s better now, but who knows. speaking of unbalanced AE is coming out soon ;( I’ll have to drop my poor honda, been with him since vanilla =/
