I think Jet Upper Jersey, Fists of North Jersey, Beasts of the East (coast)–something that represents North Jersey and fighting games.
We should definitely vote on artists and stuff. Keep it very democratic and smooth running.

As far as names go, my vote goes to either North Jersey Fight Club or Beasts of the East Coast. Both are great!

Come on people, were so close to getting things actually going! Just need more ideas for the name, then we can get the stream/logos/etc. on the move. I think the offline tournies and meet ups are most important for the community but the stream allows us to meet on normally impossible times, promote the scene, and let us get to know eachother by commentating and playing each other. In the meantime my xbl tag is Degal13 id love to get games in leveling up THE KING OF THE CAGE, Vega, and I just preordered Ultra for PC in preparation for the stream. It comes out this Friday so I wanna stream that day. Also on XBL i got some mean Marvel3 for whoever is trying to fight. Let’s go people!
We (boyfriend and I) have KI for Xbone, and various titles for the ps3. We also have 3rd strike online.
I say we could just do Beasts of the East: North Jersey Fighting Game Community it so everyone’s happy. Also, I say we go to Local Battles or The Break for the first meet up. Double check on what fighting games they have as we don’t want to go there for close to nothing.

Honestly thats way too long imo and will prove really difficult to make a logo. I think we should keep it simple and make it North Jersey Fight Club (NJFC is a nice even acronym) or just North Jersey Fighting Game Community (NJFGC same logic here). Thing is I do like Beasts of the East lol so I get where youre coming from, definitely think we need something shorter though
I see where you’re coming from, however, from personal experience I’ve seen that people will use whichever name lol. I think it works, true it’s a bit wordy, but NJFGC is a bit too plain, but I’m fine with whatever everyone picks. I’m just ready to start pairing up and tearing up some buttons! Haha
If it helps, one reason I liked Beasts of the East Coast as a group name was that BEC seemed like a nice acronym. Just saying.
