I used to go to Local Battles on and off for a while and there was always a group of people to play with there. I’ve since put gaming to the side (for now), but if you guys are looking to jump start the community, Local Battles is the place to start IMO.
Sounds good to me, let’s keep an open mind to consoles as well, BUT this is a great start. We all know that the FGC is all about console gaming, but I think it’s awesome to show some love for our PC fighters too. When did you want to start the streaming and how should we go about it?
Like who will be our commentators for that night, how long should we have it, and how should we do match ups?
Well I agree that we should do console, but the thing was everyone here said they were on PC or PSN, a couple XBL fighters. The biggest problem was just that we dont have anyone with a capture card. Also we can set up multiple channels on the stream. That way we can have PC and console fighters on there with separate commentators
This is true, I just meant down the road we shouldn’t limit ourselves, you know? I’m working on getting an El Gato next week so we’ll see how quickly it comes in and how many have what games for the PS3 and such. Hehehe
Dude definitely make the trip. I’m actually gonna be there sometime this week to get some matches in. I can’t wait for more and more people to start coming up here to play and learn.
Went to GSP earlier today, and stopped by the new Microsoft store. I only took one look at the giant video wall before I determined that I must play KI on it.
Dodger, your response from the store seemed pretty positive. Do you think it might help our cause if more of us called about bringing back KI and expressed interest, or would that just be redundant at this point?
