Out of the 4 games at the ranbats I played tonight, KOF was by far the most fun even though I didn’t know what I was doing

Your absolutely correct about that. It just feels so good when playing it. It is the only game out right now where fundamentals really pay off and getting beat feels good, like you know they earned it. Expect me to be hitting the lab a little bit so I can compete better next time. Still got 2nd though so not bad

That said, if Skullgirls delivers fully, I’ll be dropping KOF. (big if though) I want that game to be good.

lets do it… I need to get my game back. i played so bad at WNB. I actually had fun playin Marvel and cross yesterday in da boro. The “other” g’boro guys should show up though. If you can drive to Raleigh for a tourney and not come to one down the street… pretty bad looking for that community.

sigh Its very obvious that we went to the Raleigh tourney because its payout and there were great players in all games. I appreciate Tactiks for doing the ranbat thing in Greensboro and he is a great guy that just wants to make the scene better, but I have no plans to go to Seasons Beatings at all and have already started saving to go to EVO instead and alot of Greensboro guys feel the same. Also, SieClayton, didn’t you ragequit on me In KOF? You should probably be worrying about yourself looking bad before worrying about others.

Thank you for everyone that showed up to WNB Episode 13…another great tournament and the hype just keeps rising!!!

Thank you to the ones that gave us some donations, we really appreciate it and wow thank you so much for all the support…we are working hard to get things even more legit…stream, more videos online, more setups, and more games. We have been doing this for 3 months now and we have come a long way in such a short amount of time. So once again thank you guys so much!

And now lets move on to the results!!! Great matches with tons of really good competition…come back next week to get your salty runback guys, don’t let your demon take the glory of your win away!

Been super busy lately @ cisco, but hopefully it’ll calm down in a bit so I can actually play some fighting games. Game of life is too strong atm.

Your trip to raleigh from high point equals gas money which is probably $30-$40 since its 3 hours to and back, $15 for venue and games, then there’s food. So now you spent around $45-$60 that Wednesday.

You won an 11 man AE tournament and that doesn’t even give you $40. You still ended up spending $15 bro.

I’ll chalk this one up to us both not knowing each other… Silly comment though. I lost and that’s about all that happened in our match. I can worry about the scene because… I’ve been in it from is toddler stage… as far as payout goes… not like there’s a whole lot of money at stake in these tournaments. even when jon won all the tournaments, he still only got $100. Driving from Greensboro to Raleigh is a little over an hour and some change so that argument doesn’t really fly since you’ll put most of that earning back in your gas tank (if you win). So basically what you are saying is that you care about the pocket change you may win instead of perhaps doing both and continuing to win and improve. If you don’t like Tactiks or don’t like Lucky’s as a venue, just say that. If I’m wrong then i’m sure someone will let me know.

A sad day indeed.

Oh yeah so no other confusion come from this. I’m only speaking for myself.

I probably should have elaborated on my post a bit more, I mainly wanted to come to Raleigh for KOF and the experience I have there is usually awesome and I LVL up alot. Payout is not all I’m about but its a nice bonus. There was almost more people in KOF then AE which was awesome. I don’t know if you guys have noticed but Greensboro/Charlotte mainly plays SFxT and almost nobody plays AE or KOF which was what happened last time I went to Lucky’s. I like Tactiks and Lucky’s, its just I don’t really care for SFxT and that’s pretty much the main/ONLY thing going on at Lucky’s right now, and Im not interested in going to Seasons Beatings. So I don’t really have much of a reason to go anymore. Even through I spent the same amount that I could of spent at Lucky’s, the amount of experience I got at WNB was well worth it and much more then what I get at Lucky’s ranbats.
