Hello. Do you have Facebook? I run the Charlotte tourneys and the RanBats that are in Greensboro. If you were interested in going to the RanBats you could make it to my house off 485 and ride with me and some others up there Wednesdays. Other than that add me on Facebook and I will add you to the group. There are always sessions going down in Charlotte. I haven’t really heard of anything going down in Indian Trail/Monroe. I have a couple friends that live up that way and they have to come to Charlotte to get any games in.

They happen all over. Introduce yourself on the group and ask around. People will let you know when they are. They usually always post up when they are going on.

Also, for anyone new to the scene trying to play games, avoid saisyu kusinagi unless you want to be alienated too.Durham does have good players with tournament wins and high standing placings, “Excuses Galore” Ed not being one of them.
I also recall a time on the way to Final Round when Ed said that he was “defensively racist” which is the same as just being racist.
Ed was cool, till I started beating him, then he just hated me for some reason. Then he stopped entering 3S tourneys.

Wrong. I moved on. I do not value certain people on the respect level anymore. Acceptance is for those who are still mentally weak and need acceptance to remain in a false unfulfilled state of happyness in the “act of friendship”. No body compromises who they are and i do not compromise who i am as a person equally. It is called having a backbone and telling people to fuck off when they are out of line. So guess what…fuck off. For my own part ages back when I first heard of you guys (this was months) I thought it was just another doomed to fail offshoot, but you guys have held it down and consistently held well attended events and I have all the respect in the world for that. Keep doing what you’re doing, anybody who would rather shoot you down then keep it moving or w/e is on some bullshit and not getting anywhere themselves anyway.
ggs to everyone at ReSe today, I was UNC shotty. Had a great time despite not placing as well as I wanted to. The only problem I had with the tournament was that it started a good two and a half hours later than it was supposed to, but other than that it was a great experience and hopefully I’ll be able to make it out to more events in the future with the other guys here at UNC.

It would be amazing if people showed up on time. I would have it done by 9 and we would be playing teams. Kinda hard to get things started before 4 when you have 80 people and 7 games to make brackets for. If you decide to start traveling to more and more tourneys you will see that it is just the nature of the beast. Every TO’s dream is to have everyone there on time so they can get out and chill with everyone. Usually I am there till 1am packing up still

April 7th is what I have scheduled for the next event but I am looking into a larger venue and that date may change. I will know this week if that is the case.

2nd in Marvel, finally took out Raccoon, Dante, and Noel Brown. Still lost to that damn Dieminion though.
4th in SfxT, Tom got second , west got third. Dieminion won.

I understand that tournaments tend to run late for various reasons, but if no one said anything about it we might just start accepting it instead of trying to improve. That said, thanks for making this tournament happen, definitely motivated me to improve my game.
