That structure sounds bad to me and that definitely makes me feel what Orochi Negro was saying. Paying more for an entry and being put into a position of having to play all games or none regardless if you like it or not sounds it’ll do more harm in the long run. Also have to consider that some people might not have the time to stay for a tournament for every game.
Well technically they still don’t have to play the other games. And they won’t lose anything because of it. But with that said, some people may come to like other games and others won’t. I am a firm believer that you can’t main more than one game but can play a whole bunch well if you have the time. Otherwise for a lot of people only playing one game may be best for them.

Hey Jon, I think I may actually be through Raleigh area tomorrow (I’ll know tomorrow morning actually)… If so, I’d be down for some games.

As far as the time goes and entering other games: you don’t have to play if you don’t want to but it’s in your best interest to play to help your points. You never know you may like the game once you have someone to show you some stuff. Obviously your points are going to come from your main game but you can also pick up some more by trying to learn new techniques. You never know, playing another game may just help your overall game.
As for the time, it runs from 730 to 1am. You don’t have to stay the whole time and some people won’t. I will be starting the brackets right away so you can’t be late. If people are late then they will be put into losers if I get to them and they are not there yet. 5 games will be a lot to run in 5 hours but it can be done. Hell I run ReSe with 7 or 8 games with 40 man brackets in 2, 20 in KOF, 15 in BB, so on and so on in about 6-7 hours, it can be done 
Also with the $10 entry it will save a lot of people money cause more people play multiple games than people that play only one.
Anyways come out and let’s do it. I know I have been looking at picking up KOF so I look forward to that. The rest I will get bodied at but that is all part of learning.

On a side note I am working with someone right now to get a RanBat and team started in SC. I won’t run it but I will help in the development of it. Once they have a team together we will be trading off SC vs GA vs NC every month. If you ever wanted to level up and take your game to the pro level now is the time to do what you have to do to get out to the RanBats. Shit is going to start moving real fast and if you don’t make time now you will regret it later.

I can’t really take a team spot given my work schedule- I get 3 Saturdays off a year, that’s it. There’s also the problem of me not being good enough, even at KOF13, I’m too much of a fraud in that game.
That said, I’m glad you’re doing this- this is my one chance to play something other then PSN.
I just wish there was more room for alternative fighters- last night I played more Arcana then anything else.

Played KOF the whole time even though I heard the new FisherPriceXBroken was just released. I’m waiting until they release the Raised-Barrier-of-Entry Gem. Kotaku said it changes the intro into a cinema with an ink splattered Marty McFly in which he hops into a garbage-fueled car and locates good fighting games where more work equals more damage and you have to manage meter and react in order to win. The cinema ends with a giant King of Fighters XIII logo that literally rapes the shit out of the FPxB logo, while Marty McFly, slyly grinning, slowly sips a steaming cup of coffee in the background. Early reports say he’s also wearing a sweater vest to enhance the elitism.

We’re all pot monsters in some regard. I do find it funny that he called you guys pot monsters and then lost to Will the one time he entered a tournament, who’s like what, 15 and plays DJ? Pretty sure Ed’s been playing SF longer than Will has been alive.
I have hope for the tierless heroes scene though. You guys show a lot of potential, so that’s why I keep coming out to support these things and help you guys try to improve. I’d love to see a RESE vs Tierless Heroes showdown one day. Besides, if pitted vs most of NC SRK, I have a feeling you guys would do better than expected. These guys play a lot harder than some of the older players IMO. Just give them time.
