When you do raijinken as a projectile stopper your at recovery disadvantage when you use it in that manner and traditionaly that’s the way alot of characters hurt beinmaru at mid to long range.
Classic trap is with andy very simple against beni… [a] hishoken then walk behind it and look for the rajinken projectile clash and sweep. You can not gaurd in time and the rajinken has mid-to-high hit box so in will not make contact with the sweep thus leaving you open everytime you try this response.
What is tk? Oh, tiger kneen. Yes and no. Air rajinken stays active and acts as a barrier to stop people from coming in behind it and punishing, but you can be hit while going off the ground to put it on the screen. At best you will establish a netural position so far as closing screen distance is concerned.

I’m glad NC has found a common (current) game to really discuss and share info with because I feel atleast when it comes to Major tournaments that this could easily be a game we compete at high levels with other states in if we just keep stepping it up all the time.
We’re probably right below the big boys right now, but KOF has been a game we traditionally do well in, so I’m expecting at least Jon to make top 8 in KOF at FR unless he runs into Bala.
Some of the Fayetteville players have showed interest in going to this on Wednesday. That’s including me, Raf, Dustin and Mikaul. If Jimmy brings his crew how about we have a little Triangle vs Triad vs Fayetteville 4v4 exhibition in AE. I haven’t really been practicing I just want to make it more interesting for myself. I know you said you want to alternate games every week but have you thought about some of the tips I proposed to allow you to run both every week? If not then will their at least be casuals for games in UMvC3 and KOF XIII (you might also want to consider adding KOF XIII into your line up since it’s forming a pretty big scene in the Triangle; honestly in NC overall).
Well if I can nullify the projectile, keep the frame advantage neutral, advance forward and build meter then I consider that a good thing. Add 214AC to that when I have meter and the games natural counters to projectile zoning including hyper hops/jumps and rolls then I see that it’s kind of hard to zone Beni out. Are other top characters like claw Iori considered easy to zone out? Cause he has even less options of getting around projectiles.
Can someone pick me up along the way if they end up going there this Wednesday?
For NCSU players btw, there’s going to be a small UMvC3 tourney on Feb 11 in Bragaw Hall held by the Smash Community. It’s on the same day as ReSe, so if you can’t make it to Charlotte, I hope you guys show up here.
