What’s the flavor of the week going to be next week? The fact that it’s KoF and I can’t show up to get paid kind of sucks since i’ll be at work… getting paid there, and being bored but I did say I would come two weeks from last week so here’s to hoping it’s something interesting.
This is our first time running The Flavor Of The Week side tournament and we will see how things go…the main thing is that people need TO SHOW UP ON TIME since we are limited in the hours we can have the venue for and also note that since its a flavor of the week the limit of entrants is very small…if people are interested in KOFXIII (or any flavor of the week game) then we will make it a main event just like UMVC3 and SSFIVAE2012. Next week’s main event is SSFIVAE2012 and we are gonna have a pool this Wednesday (tomorrow) at the WNB Episode 5’s sign up table for people to vote to see what they would like to have as a Flavor of The Week tourney.

Just got off the phone with Noel and he will be coming in town Friday with Dieminion to get some games in and try to take our cash Saturday. Let’s make sure we have hospitality with these guys that take it to the next level by traveling 12 hours on a bus to fight us/ try and take our money.

btw is it just me or is the damage too god damn high in SC5? Someone online hit me with CH 6A+B with Natsu and did like 60% into an unblockable bomb oki trap. I was raping a Nightmare, had almost full health. He does his CE and I think it’s over so I try to attack, dude counter hits me with it and it kills me instantly. Like 80-100% damage. What the hell is that bullshit?
I thought most 3D games had high output, that’s why you have 3 rounds. It does seem like it can be a little higher at times but hell Tekken has some combos and wall resets that will make you cry.
Damage in general is higher in this installment, yes. I think the general consensus is Natsu could use a slight damage nerf, mainly on Izuna Drop. As for Nightmare’s CE, I thought I mentioned last time that’s how it worked, that it did a crazy amount of damage if it hits raw instead of activating off the auto-GI. That’s because it’s slow to raw activate, and if you see him in the auto-GI pose, you’re supposed to just step and get your free whiff punish.
Yeah, that was just my ignorance swinging into it. Getting counter hit by the non GI part was probably even worse. That’ll never happen again. I bet that player was laughing his ass off though.
