Wesker vs. Zero hmmmmmm… Personally I think that Zero is the better character at point or coming in second. Just better overall meta game based around assists. Anchor, assists, and X-Factor I give the advantage to Wesker. DHC/THCs I give the advantage to Zero only slightly because of Wesker’s glasses buff. Overall I’d say its a pretty even matchup in terms of cheezyness although Zero does take more time to “master” than Wesker.
You guys should watch sol cal regionals if you’re not now, shit’s hilarious. Yipes and that other crazy black guy from so cal on commentary is godlike.
Floe was just doing one of his “I just lost, time to get thoughtful” faces and the camera zoomed in on him while they did commentary on what he was probably thinking about, funniest shit on stream in a long time.

Before the the New Year begins, I just wanna say that it has been cool joining the local scene here in Raleigh, and also shoutouts to one warrior, if he hadn’t bought one of my fightsticks I wouldn’t have been able to get my emergency food supply of Ramen due to some crafty people from some random country stealing my identity/money.

For the most part I’m done with hosting and traveling for tournaments. I’ll still show up to a few local things in Fayetteville here and there. I just want to focus on other things up until I ship out.
Noting that, we were refused when we inquired early on in the development cycle. May attempt again after it’s gotten some sales.

Heroes and Herald thing seems grindy. It’s like I’m playing an MMO.
Man. Don’t know what to say. I’m not one that usually pouts about how their design philosophy seems to be “cater to scrubs”, but…this makes it hard to deny. If that’s how it is, then how far will that way of thinking go?
I have a strong feeling that the low level players bitched about him enough that got him nerfed, haven’t heard of anything he’s done in competitive play other than one other person. I think it’s far too early to start nerfing characters, glitch fixes is one thing but nerfing characters no.

Well if it makes you feel better, these patches are planned way in advance before the game even gets to the public. The sentinel “nerf” in vanilla was actually already planned even before the huge outcry. Probably a last minute design decision, they seemed to want NO invincible assists in the game. Honestly with how bad Phoenix W is though, I didn’t see it hurting anything. Somehow got worse than being the worst character in the game…
I’ve been on Heroes and Heralds all day, finding crazy ass combos for the cards and shit and trying to grind them out. I FINALLY got the S rank Megaman card after like 12 hours (meanwhile I have 9 bloodias… which are also S rank…), and it turns out they specifically nerfed Zeroes buster in H&H mode only so that it’s not a soft knockdown. I was scared for a sec so I went to test it in training mode and it still worked, I wonder how much other stuff like that is in there?

Your UL and DL speed really has nothing to do with how well you can play online. Obviously you need some to play online but think about it like this. With Fiber you can have 1up and 1down and have a wonderful exp online. If you have the same speed with DSL you would be pulling your hair out trying to connect to people.
DSL is the slowest, other than dial up fuckers, and is the traditional Copper cat3 that runs through the ground. Depending on how far away you are from the D-Slam (central Office or crossbox) determines how many times you have to go through a repeater to boost the signal. Therefore you lose signal in the transition of breaking data down and rebuilding it again.
Cable is much better because it uses larger copper and can go farther ( in laymen terms). Fiber is the best cause it’s light. There is a new form of COAX called Docsis3 that is proving to be really good. TWC is rolling it out around Charlotte and other areas. I have it and can have 50dl and 5ul. Again, just cause I have 50 and 5 doesn’t mean that I will connect better than anyone else. All it means is that I can send and receive data faster.
To sum up, cause I can go on for a long time on this, don’t leave cable if you have it. If you don’t have it then get it. It’s the best for gaming and with the right router and QOS/porforwarding you can have a wonderful time online.
