We need a heroes and heralds tournament when that shit comes out. There’s a card that speeds up Zero’s buster charge speed and one that gives assist super armor. Looks like you get 1 primary card and 2 secondary ones, every card has 2 effects, so if you have it in primary it gets its busted effect, if it’s in secondary it gets it’s weaker one.
I’m thinking Faster Buster, Armored Assists, and then I dunno. Refilling hyper combo gauge seems good. The one from ghost and goblins makes you come back to life if you die with 3 meters (5 if it’s a secondary) so if you have that + one of the auto meter gaining ones… you could have dark dark phoenix.
Oh also, there’s one that gives infinite x factor as long as you have 3 bars, and one that lets you keep reactivating it at the cost of meter. Shit’s gonna be so broke / fun.

I’m guessing it is because they are both top5 characters in the game. Possibly one and two. Besides I figured you would be used to the hate by now. I don’t think zero can be bad in a fighting game lol.
This coming from the guy who openly admitted that at the start of the round he just jumps forward and hits H while calling Dante cuz there’s nothing the other guy can do. Zero might take a tiny fraction of extra thought than Wesker, if that. Wesker at least has to put himself at some risk when attacking.
I picked up Wesker in like 2 days and am beating competent people already. There’s no way in fuck hell I could have done that with Zero. He has good hit boxes but have fun dealing with runaway and being zoned out, dying in one combo, below average mobility, and combos that take more work then abcs wesker easy moding. There’s a reason you don’t see Zero players placing at tournaments, while you see Wesker on every team.
You used to play him yourself, you should put him back on your team since it’s so easy to win with. You obviously don’t have a problem tier whoring judging by your KoF team :tup:
Re: Zero and dealing with runaway/being zoned, you realize the same thing can happen to Wesker, right? If he doesn’t have a good projectile assist, he has a bitch of a time getting in on people. Also evident by how much trouble Erik’s team gives me, since he can neutralize my usage of assists easily. I’d venture that switching out Dorm for a good projectile assist would solve the same problem with Zero. The health difference is legit, but again, a competent Zero is a lot harder to hit than a competent Wesker. Mobility complaint is sorta legit (this is why I don’t play him), but the only real problem with his mobility is that it isn’t very intuitive or natural-feeling. It’s probably significantly worse in Ultimate due to the airdash change, but 90% of the time you’re hitting H anyway, so who cares? His air mobility is several times more flexible than Wesker’s, that’s for sure. Combos being harder is just, no. As you mentioned, I’ve played Zero before, which of course means I messed with him in training mode. I personally don’t find his combos that difficult until you start to employ the more complicated assist extensions, which aren’t vital to playing him. His max damage off of similar starters also tends to be higher than Wesker’s, from my experience (ie you get out of it what you put in, Zero combos are a little more involved but the reward is that he kills characters outright without having to burn 3 meters). Combo difficulty in general just isn’t a valid complaint for most characters in UMvC3, the game is just too easy for the most part.
Seeing Wesker on every team is just because people throw Wesker in the back and crack out on XF4. There’s nothing all that special about that, it’s just path of least resistance that you see at the beginning of any game’s lifespan. Most of those guys probably have no idea of how to play Wesker properly and would get bodied if they tried to play him on point. They could also probably pick any other retard anchor character, throw them in the back and get similar results.
And hey, it’s not my fault that SNK decided to make most of the cool main characters good in XIII. But whatever man, do what you do. Duolon aside, your team isn’t exactly weak.

Good tournament and posting cause Saisyu doesn’t log in much but gamefrog tournament Jan 21st, then you got your ReSe tournament on the 14th too. I imagine January is going to be a more chill month fighting game wise though because getting off Christmas plus possible release of SC5 which might garner interest.
