I got you.

I am le down.
As always, you know.
What’s the big deal with arcade perfect or not? Bruce Lee always taught me to be shapeless. Formless, like water.

Chips present: IBM Broadway (Backwards compatible with Gekko code), ATI Hollywood
Chips not present: Ricoh 2A03(6502 core), Ricoh 2C02, Ricoh 5A22(65C816 core), Sony SPC700, Motorola 68000, Yamaha YM7101, Zilog Z80, NEC VR4300, SGI Reality
The main difference between the Wii and emulators like ZSNES is that Nintendo doesn’t have to reverse engineer their own stuff.
are you serious? It doesn’t matter if the game you practice on is the same as the game you play at tournament? And quoting Bruce Lee? Really? You think you can just lazily swirly some mystic samurai powder in your tea and and train in the wizard dojo to use the heart of the cards to become an ST master? I think I want to money match you. For a lot of money.
:|. press start. recieve original st character versions. suddenly, pretty much every problem goes away. and I have not experienced that vega glitch… well considering i dont do an up down dive anyway. and i mentioned emulation/hdr.
I think ST and 3s are great games that are not getting represented. They aren’t slow like ae. Yes, ae is slow compared to an older sf game. One that is 20 years older.
3s owns. The ps2 version is incredibly well done and we all have most likely played it. Give these games a chance. They are good. And recently we haven’t had much of a turnout ( I checked in on the last one, you had 4 people). In that regard, I don’t understand why it’s on a Monday when most people are working.
That’s ass, hknishino. I remember leading up to the Wii launch them saying they had actual hardware built into the system and that the Virtual Console games for the systems provided at launch were not actually emulated. I saw pictures of some computer chip looking shit. Dunno why they didn’t go through with it, and/or lied. So reverse engineering is what makes the big difference then?
Also, I already made a semi-big post to TNB that went over his head so I’m not making another one. But he’s still wrong, but less wrong than before. But that’s only because it has less words. Percentage-wise it’s about the same really.
Its been confirmed that Tom Brady will be at MLG Raleigh, place sounds like its going to be hype!
Confirmed it on the s1lent1 stream!
What is Bruce Lee favorite drink? WA—TAAHHHHH~!
4Chan taught me to be best troll at /b but I already give up since there is nothing but troll evolution.
That, using paid developers instead of part-time volunteer work, and testing on a per-game basis. As I mentioned earlier though, it does do Gekko code in hardware, which is the Gamecube CPU.
I"m going try my best to hit up the tournaments on the 20th and 27th (atleast one of em)
I’m thinking of doing 10$ singles and 5$ p head teams for 3s OE. Kick it off right.
TNB, there were more than 4 people last time (…you weren’t there last time…); we’re doing what we can. Having it on Monday’s hurts, but I don’t have the option to run it on the weekend. Aside from that, I did think that it would be nice to have something during the week with all the events on the weekend, and I still think it can work . Weeklys work in other areas. This is a college and service industry centric city, and most of the people who work in these jobs don’t have the option of weekends. It’s not like we’re running it Monday morning until 2pm; we don’t even start until the 9-5s are over.
Regardless, you’ve been there twice for the two months or so that we’ve held it so far. A few posts back you were complaining about not having a Facebook event to notify you of the tournament when it’s the same time, day, and place every week (???). The issue now is invigorating the local scene. SC has shown more consistently than any of the locals save Andrews and maybe Junior and Byrd, and even when the locals do show and play casuals, most of them don’t have money to enter (other than Andrews, Junior and sometimes Byrd), hence me trying to goad them into beating me for their entry fees. We haven’t always run tournaments yet because I’m reaching out more to try to help if we don’t have that many people. Other than putting up more flyers when school starts back, most of the success or failure of the weeklys will be left to the local scene.
@Lucerne: You gonna be at the Gamefrog tourny? How about EZ? The Bruce Lee quote was a joke, but if you’re willing to give me your money than I’m fine with that. Don’t try to come up with some lame excuse either. Better be epic.
Good one sir.
Both should be pretty good. Unfortunately I haven’t been to a RESE tournament as of yet, but from my experience at EZ its definitely a great tournament to attend.
Sorry for people that tried to reach me this weekend, I was working/out a lot. Also, FYI, altus.com/kofxiii has Flame Iori’s commands listed. He’s getting that crazy qcfx4 followup to his maiden masher.
Yo Skrull is really good… I shoulda messed with him sooner. I think he might have the “secret tech” that capcom is saying hasn’t been found yet.
It’s fairly easy to mash out, it’s kinda a silly command, but it isn’t as dumb as old-school Break Spiral.
I wish KOFXIII was coming sooner- I don’t know if Arcana can hold me for two months.
What does mashing out entail in KOF13? Serious question, because i’m the first to say I suck ass at any KOF game. In SF i’d just assume like Ryu’s SRK or something. Is it the same kind of thing?
