I’ve pretty much heard nothing but good about the venue itself as a place to go and play games and considering the chances of us just bringing our own CRTs and other equipment for tournaments I don’t really see why they’d have a problem since it’s all pure profit, consider you have a 50+ person turnout guaranteed for a Saturday and 5 dollar venue fee at minimum they make 250 dollars from that alone and even more incentive if we don’t bother with their stuff so the usual customers can still play.
So erm, my friend from college was nice enough to buy me a PS3 COD bundle and got me MvC3. Feel free to add him under DeadlyDragonKing<===PsN. He wants to get into fighting games, and we are both free like Tyler Perry Movies on torrent in that game so yea. He lives in Clayton.
Sucks to hear about the tourney. Wanted to go but had to do daddy duty yesterday as a result of my gf’s new job. Guess a higher power was looking over me lol Anyways, I plan on playing some MvC3 later tonight if anyone is interested in dropping by.
ROFL , yo hit me up …lets go clubbin before i skip town son
I remember MONTHS ago that Trykt and I were trying to get some interest in coming to this one gaming lounge in Fuquay, and then everyone proceeded to shit all over it. It was mad disheartening.they have a 3000 sq foot basement we could use and wouldn’t be against letting us bring our shit and use it. It’s a small place with laggy TV’s but they’re not against letting us bring our own stuff. Of course there’d be venue, but this was months ago I asked, but at the same time I’d assume theyd be ok with it still.
And then everyone proceeded to shit all over it, it was mad disheartening.
I’ve seen what a power surge hitting a CRT looks like first hand. The TV flashes extremely brightly for an instant before going dark forever.
That’s not what happened yesterday at Lucky’s. The power just went down to an unusable level.
Yeah Lucky just called me. Nothing was broken, the outlets just couldn’t provide enough/any power aside from residual power it seems.
So Hector, Matt, whoever else and I are no longer boned royally. Whoop.
RE: Elite Zone
So we’re trying to buy extra chairs for EZ so we can stop taking away the chairs from all of the other customers. We don’t need anything fancy, just some easy to store folding chairs that don’t take up a lot of space. We need around a dozen and I saw the average prices online was like $50+ for a set of 4, so on average we’ll need to spend around $150+ to get a dozen. If anyone knows of a better deal then please inform us. All we’re asking is for a small donation of $5 or less at the next 3 EZ sessions so we can have the chairs by the next tournament.
Get HYPE for donation drives!!!

Any of the guys from Lucky’s coming down to EZ for our big tourney? If so I left my bag at Lucky’s during all the confusion. It’s a black and gray bag with a PS2 controller inside. It says SPC Bryant written on the top. If some one could bring it with them when yall come down, I would appreciate it greatly. I left it on the top of the counter at the end, near the back. Please let me know if anyone finds it. Thank you. and thank you Bobby Johnson.
What up ppl. I need some help with this config for kof13. not sure how xpadder works and using typx config doesn’t help. hit me up.
another good reason to switch to lcd/monitors, they take a whole lot less power. i know the asus monitors are pretty cheap now (about $150 or so).
It was the systems that weren’t able to turn back on, not the monitors.
“Hey! Hey!..you know when I was born I came out of a vagina. All my life I’ve been trying to get back in them!”

Side note…Will is a walking container of Morton’s.
“Hey there pretty lady, my name is Bobby Johnson but my girlfriends like to call me Big Johnson.”
-Bobby Johnson-
Understatement.
This is if you’re using a PS3/360 stick, because the drivers don’t want to give diagonals. I haven’t had any problems w/ PS2 sticks through a converter.
Open xpadder. In the upper left hand corner is a button with a picture of a controller, click and chose new. In the new window, click the dpad option and click enable. Nothing else for now. Click buttons next and one at a time push the buttons on your stick. Each time you press a button a square will show up on the top panel representing it. xpadder allows you to rearrange these squares; do it. As you push each button rearrange it into the layout of the buttons on your stick. This will make life easier later. Click OK to close out. Click each of the button icons, and afterwards you will press a key on the keyboard to associate it with. Do the same for the dpad. Once you have directions and buttons set up, click the controller icon, save.
Open typexconfig. hit N, N, N, enter for the first options. When it asks for inputs for controls, enter them using the keyboard, not the stick. Also, when it asks for buttons 1,2,…,6, enter them like its Street Fighter. KoF reads button 1 as LP, 2 as SP, 4 as LK, 5 as SK. Put in keys you can remember for test mode, options, exit; if you need player 2, repeat the xpadder steps for a second controller; if not, enter anything as long as it doesn’t overlap with what you assigned to player 1. Open Loader.bat, give it a minute to start up and play.
Will was gettin internally salty after Ed took that one game off him. I was getting high blood pressure sitting near him ha.
