Good matches. The Hazama didn’t really put up much of a fight. I think the fight he had with the second Jin shows how dangerous it can be to fly about recklessly with Valkenhayn, especially against a character who has good ways to control air space. Still, very good matches, especially the final round of the third match in the vid. Valk is such an awesome character.
Unfortunately, I will probably not be going to Lucky’s on the 18th, I will be in Hickory that weekend. Supposed to be coming back Saturday, so who knows, might be able to swing by and get some casuals. We’ll see.
Really awesome set with Shiki yesterday. Those matches were really fun, what was is like 55 matches? I wish I could have played more. I should be on later today around 6pm after I get some dinner with some friends at Orchid Garden… dood.
That makes 7 from NC then that I can count. Good stuff. Do you know if Raf is excited about Sagat being a lot better in AE? A friend of mine and I were talking about that since we’ve both played Raf tons and his Sagat is already quite impressive in SSF4.
Once you unlock all the stages, you actually get to choose what “Random” chooses from. But most people now stage strike and that is where they take turns removing stages from a set list and they play on the last one standing.

Also about the Tekken stage stuff. It has ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS been random stage. The only time its ever changed was in T4 when they were experimenting with uneven stages and most players opted to make Arena the default stage. I dont see how you can try to justify saying counterpicking a stage is ok. It just makes NO sense whatsoever. So your wall game sucks? That sounds like a personal problem. Walls greatly increase damage output for ALL characters in the game. And you play Alisa but want an infinite stage? Thats giving a win away I hate to tell you. Also having an infinite stage means absolutely NOTHING if your movement isnt good. Give me wall stage with Lee and I wall rape. Give me an infinite stage with Lee and I bdc/mist step you for the entire round. I hate to sound condescending but your points are just plain out retarded.
EDIT: If you MUST change the stage while playing there is NO rule against going to character select, choosing the SAME character and then seeing if you can get an infinite stage in random though.
EDIT 2: I just checked the Lucky’s thread and I just want to voice my opinion that I am sick and tired of Tekken being passed of as some “sideshow” game. Im not saying it needs to be a major or anything but goddamn…GUILTY GEAR (which Tekken comparatively matches in numbers) and 3S (which I wont say a single bad word against) are guaranteed to be run as part of the event using Tonamento and such (even though I am usually the one who provides the damn games for these) yet I ALWAYS have Tekken on me but it has to be run on the side by a secondary party, like the game isnt there or something. “Here’s an empty paper bracket…run it over there in the corner”. Like its some kind of castle freak, mongoloid, half retarded, red-headed stepchild of a game. Im putting BOTH SIDES of the rope ON BLAST here. On one side the game has to be advertised as getting played if you want to draw players out and on the other side all you fucks who say you want to play it NEED to bring your asses out and play the FUCKING GAME. Do I need to lay down another pot bonus? Because I will if I have to…not like anybody outside of Ace or Rob could take it from me anyways.
How do you update BBCS to BBCS2 on PS3 is it automatic? Or do you have to buy it? I went looking in the PSN store but couldn’t find it…

As you can probably tell, I had no experience against She-Hulk or Jill, which is exactly the kind of practice I need for CEO since my team’s main weakness is against rushdown.

If you can afford it and/or you have a gameshare with someone who already has them, it’s totally worth it. From a gameplay perspective, those are the most interesting characters in the game, for the most part. Pretty much every character introduced after CT is cool.
It seems like you’re saying stage choice doesn’t matter. Are you absolutely certain that you won’t play differently on a tiny forest stage than you would on a giant winter wonderland? I’m positive you’d rape me regardless of what stage I choose, but they have to affect the gameplay for that round, right? I mean, you just listed different tactics at the end of your paragraph.

Demo: Simply put, no pot bonus is gonna ever work, cuz there is no respect for Tekken, especially not at Lucky’s. I would think the last few tournaments have effectively proven that. Maybe you can get the tekken players to stop being so elitist and post here or even just come out to the tournaments but if you could do that, you would already have and we wouldn’t have any problems. I want to consider myself a tekken player but the community seriously sucks ass. Illuminati gatherings DON’T help. Gatherings announced 1 hour before they happen DO NOT HELP.
And yeah, you just update blazblue and its CS2. You need 8 bucks each for 3 DLC chars and like, 2 bucks for Mu.
