Glad to hear everything worked out at the UNCG campus. I was actually there and was about to head to the room but I had to return home. So I missed out. I would’ve had to leave in a couple of hours anyways.

I’m not gonna lie though, Arcana Heart 3 is pretty fun due to all the insane flying shenanigans, despite the game being creepy as fuck. But that’s Japan for ya. Gotta be careful on those trains.

So I guess this is some kind of mini-Major? A major-like tournament in the Carolinas would be nice to see. The closest we’ve ever had would have been the Drunken Triad or the Charlotte Mindboggle Tournament where New York and Virginia came down.

Room rates of $49 are definitely affordable, but if it’s only one day I don’t know how many out-of-towners would be down to stay overnight. I would, if there were a lot of casuals or if it was 2 days. Plus it’s probably close enough that you could get some Georgia peeps as well.
July 16th seems okay to me. That’s 2 weeks before EVO so no conflict there.
August 20th seems kinda late as a lot of people will probably be back in school, or otherwise be broke from paying for school/books. Like me, most likely =/
I can’t see you having a problem with Vega if you play Boxer, usually if Vega blocks one jump in its mixup/rush down city for rog, you see flip dash P or K , ex dash in between pokes, if you miss, awesome ssf4 absolute guard(whatever its called) wont know lol

yea shiki that is what i am hoping this will be, Greenville location wise is 2-3 hours from everywhere(NC, GA, Charleston, TN, ect.) so i want to draw from everywhere. i am going to go to alot of places to get as many people as possible to post this. I am leaning toward the July 16th date, just need to clarify a few things. overall this is looking good and should be awesome, i am in the process of getting sponsors for food and a vendor for console repair/videogame sales at the event to help keep cost down on door fees.
NC is very important to me as some very very good players(you all know who you are) are located there so i want to make sure that you guys are happy with this. to the ones of you that have been to our Gvegas tournaments before what would make the experiance better? what should i change? just let me know guys i appreciate the input.

I live over by Southpoint Mall. But I’m cool with Animazement, get insanely drunk, see a couple of decent costumes, play some games. Its generally pretty fun for me.
