I love very last one…

Mr. Bear in Battle K-Road is the most realistic bear in a fighting game ever. Because if a bear hits you, it needs to take off more than half your life, especially if you’re supposed to be a regular guy who knows a martial art. Also, everyone knows that real bears out in the woods have dragon punches. Thank you, Shiki.

Also, I was rooting hard for Viscant. That dude’s fun to watch play. Also that thing he does with his hands on the stream mixed with his face (maybe bone structure and his overall weight? slight bags under his eyes?) sort of reminds me of Satan if he were a human.

Viscant is the devil.

Yup, the more I thought about it, the more glad I was that he won. He wasn’t doing anything too crazy, just playing really solid. Another thing that I liked…no letters/abbreviations/acronyms in front of his name.

Don’t worry after last night I’m sure his name will be Acronym Fuudo.

No session at my place tonight, sorry guys. I’ll resume next week though.

So my stick broke…which really sucks because I wanted the next stick I spent money on to be a hitbox and I don’t think I can hold out that long. Who knows when they’ll go on sale and then who knows what spot I’ve got on the waiting list.

I’ll be having a session in Greenville on Wednesday evening starting at around 6. If anybody’s interested that doesn’t already attend these, then feel free to ask or shoot me a PM or something. The more, the merrier.

Speaking on the top 3 I remember hearing someone fairly well known in NC saying this, Matt? Roski? It was someone but do you guys agree that playing other games can sometimes benefit your play style in like Street Fighter for example. Someone here was like “if you watch MB players play other games they will block more” or “kof players will do this more” depending on what games they play.

Poongko is all rushdown-y because of his kof. Sf is really slow compared to kof and seth fits him well. He has a ton of options, espec for an sf character and generally has more tricks than a lot of the cast. Plus poongko plays everyone and seth is every classic character at once- minus blanka and the new challengers. Lol, Seth with electicity.

So is the ncbc actaully happening today…?
Or was it magically canceled last minute without much notice?

I leave February 2, 2012 for the Navy as an IS (Intelligence Specialist).

Ah, no way man. I have a friend who is headed out March 3rd, 2012 for the Navy as well. Forgot what he was going for. Where you gonna be stationed? He said he’s gonna try to make the next EZ tournament haha he plays MK.

Calendar-Trap strikes again.

Congratulations !

Super StreetFighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012 Version.

Im surprised that they actually extended the title.

Poongko coming from KoF, expect him to jump in alot. Since Seth’s jump in mixups are so strong, perfect character for him. Latif played Eddie in GG, so not surprising he’s using Viper. Fuudo just has strong fundamentals from playing VF.

Vf is a difficult game, he should have strong everything. and does.

@Corner Trap, that’s good news dood. MI is a great MOS, you will have a great time. Many adventures await you, anchors away!!
VF is a great game and so are KOF and GG. I’m a big fan of all three, and have played them at tournament level in the past. I hope people will step out of their Capcom comfort zone and try other things,Knowledge is Power!! EVO was great!! Shouts out to all the winners and folks who participated and put that great event together.

Oh good stuff CT. Hope you enjoy your career path.

I saw AE Grand Finals.
Fuudo played EXACTLY like I would expect a top VF player to play like. Fei-Long is by far the closest SF character to Lion.

I would say that SF4 definitely has not taught this generation good fundamentals, but even worse is MvC3 where an 8-year old can make Top 48 out of 1000 because “blocking is lame”.

Good luck Counter-Trap

Mr. Bear is Underpowered… that dragon punch did absolutely no chip damage.

UNACCEPTABLE!

>:7{(

To shed some light on the Noah thing being in the top 48 in MvC3 I can explain it like this…his team of Hulk/Sent/Wesker is a straight up online team thats easily able to abuse lag tactics, besides Mike Ross and Shiki here I’ve yet to see anyone else main Hulk on a tournament squad and if you play online matches you probably won’t face many Hulks, in the early going ons of the tourney I’m sure some people just took it for granted that they were playing an 8 year old, and once the games got into the later stages I’m sure some people felt the pressure of possibly losing to an 8 year old and played not to lose as opposed to playing to win. Hell I’d rather see Justin Wong as my draw then Noah to a certain extent. No shame in losing to Justin and that crazy crowd would probably be behind you if you were winning as opposed to the other way around where all the pressure to win is on you, the crowd was insanely behind Noah, and not to mention he’s actually a very skilled competitor considering his age and experience with the game. He definitely wasn’t some 8 year old mashing buttons.

Edit: Good luck Corner-Trap when that time comes man.
