Honestly dude, I just don’t give a shit. I feel bad for your friend and his situation but you come in here making these long ass posts about NC / Charlotte relations and all that. You two tekken players have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH NC / CHARLOTTE RELATIONSHIPS. In fact, I don’t even think you were really involved in this other than being the spokesman of drama. The person who was involved with the incedent spoke his peace and that’s it.
Us not coming to Charlotte has nothing to do with that. It’s just a long ass drive for most people and that’s a personal choice. If you guys want to come down here, that’s your personal choice. You are not entitled to us coming to your tournaments because you come to ours.

Last 2 weeks have been great, I know we wont get a huge turnout like we did last week since it was a holiday but even half of that would be great tonight. Hope everyone isn’t all gamed out from the weekend!
I may make an appearance, I dont play on xbox360 nor have a controller for one. As well as my new TE stick has not arrived. I am however defiantly interested in checking it out. Would need someone to let me use their gear until my stick comes in and I have the time to mod it. I would not want to rely on someone else to compete though or be a burden.

Going to see transformers tonight with a friend (never saw 1 or 2 lol) so I won’t be able to make but hope everyone has a good time since your last session was really fun.
I’ve been delaying the inevitable and haven’t gotten mine pullet yet. I need to do it before my teeth end up looking jagged like the rocks that Mufasa fell on after getting trampled by wildebeast in the Lion King.
Had a blast at EZ. I went 2-2, I’m satisfied with myself. I got taken out by Rugal B, and I can’t feel too bad about that as he’s really good. However I’m not so thrilled that when I learned I was up against him, I got a little freaked out early on so I played really dumb and essentially defeated myself before the match even started. Staying cool when you’re at a disadvantage is a hard skill to master.
Overall I really enjoyed the experience BUT my one complaint is that AE and Marvel 3 started way too late. I got back home at 5 am. I generally get up to go to work at 5:30. Not cool. However luckily, from what I’ve heard next time MK and Tekken won’t be first and there will be more setups… thank god. It’s a nice venue and I’ll definitely come back provided it doesn’t run as late. Just next time I’m not offering to drive… sooooo fuckin’ tired lol
I totally missed the Tekken incident as we were all in the back playing AE casuals. I can’t say it’s too terribly surprising, though now knowing that he had a dangerous level of testosterone. That would make almost anybody go crazy… but he probably shouldn’t have played knowing that an imbalance in brain juices could make him completely flip out and smash shit.

Yeah… but what’s nice is the place itself is big so there’s good ventilation. Usually when you go to lucky’s you are bombarded with horrible BO stink everywhere.
Still Lucky’s is way closer, and I really prefer driving 20 mins as opposed to 2 hours. I hope they’re still doing it and they’re not finished after that last incident.
Sorry man, a 45 minute outburst still doesn’t cover Marvel starting at 11PM. If Marvel started at 10:15 PM that’s still not even close to an acceptable time.

Why is it that we’ve been having very smoothly run tournaments in Charlotte for the past few months, with lots of lag-free set-ups, and yet everyone in NC outside of Charlotte chooses to ignore that they exist?
I actually would like to hear feedback on why that is.
If people have no trouble driving to Fayettenam, which is in the middle of nowhere and not an easy drive to make for most of the state, why is the biggest city in the state such a problem to travel to?

Yea I did not get off work until 5:30 and needed to run diner home before I would be able to come back out. Timing with work didnt work out so well for me to make it out. Next week should be a bit better and ill bring a casual pair of clothes to change into so I do not have to leave wilmington then head back into town for the event. Hopefully my new stick will be in so I can use it rather then bum one off another participant. GL to all those out at CFG tonight!
