I got the impression that everything was being cancelled just to run SF4, SC4, GG, and maybe 3S. (and honestly I think running 3S would cause things to run long)
Honestly, I expect 60-70 people in there, I don’t think there will be time or space to do anything. If you guys try to run HD, I guarantee you’ll be running tournies while I’m going to work (I leave for work at 11pm, I get back from work at 9am)
SC4 regional is also serious business, the last time they had one it overflowed Lucky’s. And that was shitty ass SC3. SC4 is a better game that’s more popular. Since that one is a regional with bigger shit on the line, you guys really need to make sure that’s on point and shit gets started with that on time.
Seriously, I don’t think we have the resources to run other shit- being realistic and all. Up to Roski though.
Also if SF4 was delayed until 4-5pm to start like has been heard, I couldn’t enter it anyways due to work, so I’d just not want to come.
Isn’t the SF4 tournament the gayest and the largest ever held!? Having something like this at a local fucking Gamestop playing out of a fucking kiosk with 360 pads where it makes everyone look like a scrub (except scrubs will be much more scrubier) is utter bogus! I showed up last and won my first match, looked at the bracket and I was gonna get 3 bys; it is madly disorganized and to me injustice in a way… Fuck pads and fuck random ass incontrolable jumping short/forward! I’ll start the cleansing at Lucky’s next week…
I was first match first round loss at my GameStop. Better competition than I expected but nearly everyone was Ken, Ryu, or Tiger. There was a solid Blanka there. Used El Fuerte (contemplated using someone else) and the guy I lost to actually complemented me after the tourney. I felt I failed hard initially when I lost but he admitted that I was screwing with his head much more than I realized. Got his contact info since I’m trying to promote both Lucky’s and some of the stuff I’m trying to get organized here in Charlotte on campus.

Edit: Gamestop rips people off so bad…I was gonna try and trade in my 360 to help pay for a PS3. Bad idea. They said they’d only give me $80 for the 360 and $25 for the hard drive. I <3 gamestop.
Q - Sorry it took this long for a reply, but hell yeah, Monday night. My router is messed up, so I can’t be online with both my 360 and Wii at the same time (Computer’s busted). This means in order to post on SRK I have to completely get off of SF4’s online… which only happens about once every two days.
