Beat 3 Kens with my Honda, and lost to Bryan (not Face, the other Bryan).
the next tournament is on the 28th (the same day as the next montly) and I think the next one after that is during final round.

Lu won in Greensboro at like a 50 man tournament, Dez won in Greensboro Mall with like 30 people, and I won in Kernersville with 6 people. The tournament that Lu won actually had two sticks for the tournament, set up on the counter at arcade height, and a huge as 40 inch or so TV.

I would suggest everyone to come to Lucky’s next week. SF4 will be PACKED hopefully. I gave out Lucky’s business cards with the tournament info to most of the people in the mall here, and then like 30 more cards out at the tournament we just got back from. There were actually some solid players at some of these here.
One of my favorite tournament moments EVER happened tonight I think. Lu had this Fei player full screen and taunted with Abel. The quote was like “This is so much fun for me” or some shit, and then the guy dashed at Lu and then jumped, Abel finished talking, and then Lu did EX air grab to kill him. 
Is there a chance the Lucky’s tourney can start a little bit later for people who want to try their luck at Round 2?
The GS tourneys next week shouldn’t last that long since districts only contain a handful of stores that had tournaments, and those stores only have 2 winners each.
There’s no way I’m missing FR for Round 3, (although if you win you qualify for EVO, win a SF4 tourney stick, and a free weekend trip to San Francisco…) but I’d at least like to try to win a free SF4 pad.
Is anyone here actually planning on…uh, “acquiring” KOF 2002 UM this week?

Strangely enough though, they’ve been giving me Saturdays off lately.
Just because SF4 stole a lot of concepts and character designs from SNK doesn’t quite make it an SNK game, though. 
It makes me glad to read all of the interesting random stories about the GS tourneys here on SRK.
It truly is “the biggest SF tournament of all-time”.
It’s just like old times again, when EVERYONE played Street Fighter EVERYWHERE…even if it’s only for one day…

I think the play style of SF IV is too old for me, I acualy fell asleep mentaly during the tournament. But over all I suck pretty bad at the game and most likely will play Tekken 6: BR and KOF XII for 09. SF4 will be manliy be a casual game for me.

Where in the hell did you get the idea that those matches were canceled? If I missed a post, let me know, but if you just assumed that they were canceled and didn’t show up, that would be SOOOO fucked up to the people that had sidebets on this match.
