Might as well introduce myself. Living in Fayetteville currently. Been playing the Marvel vs Capcom series since 2002 with some time off here and there. Playing MvC3 now pretty heavily. I am down for meeting up at elite zone whenever. I have a copy of MvC3 and a fight stick. Dont mind driving to a tournament, pretty much the bigger the tournament, the more i am willing to drive. So it seems Corner-Trap is heading up stuff for Fayetteville, so hit me up and we will see what we can put together.

Well I mostly just post about the sessions to inform others, it’s really Kevin who does most of the organizing. We’re trying to meet every Friday usually around 7 or so (although we were discussing an earlier time). Just come out and meet us, information is on the first post.

And sorry about the Makoto comment, you weren’t playing her wrong. You were doing well. Your pressure was good and you don’t need to do too much more. I just can’t put my finger on it. Also when we continue to play each other, Carl’s sandwich pressure will begin to make more sense. People easily freakout (for good reasons) when they get sandwiched and it makes much easier for me to hit them.
Actually I’m the only person in Greensboro who plays GG and we didn’t play it at the gathering but anyone who wants to play GG, I’m always down to play, time permitting, since I like that game so much. I’ve been trying to get up with Ian for GG and MvC3 but our schedules never coincide.

In about an hour they are going to start seating and im going to watch the dark show before WrestleMania. Im so motherfucking HYPE right now. But yeah about WWE All-Stars. Look HERE, I have taken on a labor of love and im gonna compile all the info into one place and make a scene or strenghten the one thats there.
So I was at the asian grocery store today and had a random encounter with Edmondantes today. I’ma try to get him out for some games sometime. He has replaced spreadsheet with kid sheet.

More people should play guilty gear. I’ve been putting major work into my i-no recently too. I wanna test out the fruits of my labor…
I’ll play Accent Core if I can ever get a PS2 controller with the analog stick switching places with the D-pad.
Or you could use the d-pad on the Dual Shock 2? Its no Saturn pad but its not the POS that Microsoft puts on their controllers.
Or better yet, Arcade Stick.
I’m not ready to invest in a stick.
And I think all D-pads are trash. I use the analog stick and Dualshock analog placement is awkward and constructed from butter.
I plan on being at keiths tomorrow. Hope to see some familiar faces. I always seem to disappear for a while. I’m hoping to make this more consistent.

As I said, I’m not that great but I do enjoy the community and and camaraderie the fighting game community has. I’m open to learning any game you might play as long as it isn’t Tekken…I don’t know why but I despise it. Maybe you can change my mind. Holla!

I assume he means the GameFrog tournaments. I went there once last year and it wasn’t that bad.
