RR and Frank West.
I like the zombies in it. It looks like he might be fun to mess around with in casuals. I also can’t stand really small characters. How do they fit in. Do they still have a hit box like everyone else or are they really small like they are and moves whiff?
You know what, I actually like Frank West and Rocket Raccon in MvC3. In fact, I don’t have any serious issues with the roster minus the fact X isn’t on it. I do appreciate the approach Capcom is doing though. Would be awesome to see Cyclops, Cable, or maybe even Bishop, but there are more Marvel characters besides X-Men. At least with MvC3 they’re trying to give you a taste of something different from each universe.
I’m still under the belief that X WILL be in MvC3 more than likely in the form of DLC. Unless they make a crap ton of changes again, which I doubt, and release a new NEW version of MvC3. But wouldn’t actually surprise me if they did. Interesting that the one character I knew would be in it isn’t right now and the one I thought for sure wouldn’t is. Here’s to Capcom trolling me.
P.S. Has anyone else noticed that Zero has X’s third (or fourth) armor colors as one of his costumes? I just find it odd since they removed X’s original armor colors from Zero. I’m thinking they’re gonna give X Sigma’s armor colors as one and perhaps the ultimate armor as another. Probably Vile’s colors as well.
EDIT: Zero has a buster shot. I wonder if Capcom will give X a z slash? X1 and X6.
RR scares me…:eek: Frank looks a lot better than he did in TVC. Don’t really like how RR and Hawk Eye call out all their moves, its not gonna be very tricky if they CALL OUT WHAT KIND OF TRAP/ARROW IT IS!!:rolleyes: They really need to cut down on the corny ass voice acting in this game.
Was curious as to how he would be, but after watching the video I have to try him now. And I wonder how long and how much he can do that move where you can’t get hit. At first I was thinking people may try to spam it and run down the clock if in the lead, but it looks like once its done you’re left wide open. Not something to just through out there without a game plan.
Yeah, I actually like this version of Frank West in MvC3. I don’t think RR and Hawk calling out their moves is a major issue. They call them out as their doing such as like Ryu doing a hadoken. Long trap was the only one I really noticed that may actually help someone out hearing it if it could, but if you’re using it to keep someone away or counter hit then it doesn’t matter at all. The constant “call out every attack I do” does get pretty corny after a while I will say.
Yeah, the over all VA is pretty annoying. How many characters need to say “Ya like that!?” over and over again.How did all the characters become some kinda sadistic S&M dominatrix all the sudden??lol BB has this bad too. I’m all for character interaction but yea… get old quick.>:( Oh yea like Doom announcing his “Hidden Missiles”…just don’t make sense.

Game is still awesome, and hype as it can be. Puzzle games and Shumps need to make their come back, who doesn’t love Tetris Attack(aka Puzzle League) and Twinkle Star Sprites(and it’s spiritual successor Touhou 9).
I was waiting for someone to say that. And the point I was making was there was less talk about WHERE games were and more talk about HOW MUCH NC HATES GAMES.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re starting to troll yourself. The subject of “How much NC hates games” came up when Hero mentioned something that happened after a gaming session that you apparently ignored to attend. This did lead talk to about 2 pages, but versus the other 16 pages of fighting game etc. in this current tread I don’t think that it was all that bad. Just friendly online debate. On the subject of What Games are Going On vs. How Much NC Hates Games we talked about how much people dislike SF4 but still play. As far as the games we like being played there was Lingmassacre with his Tekken session, EZ had games going on throughout the week, and Charolette had randbats, and there were a few people trying to get in some BB. We talked about GG and MB too. But there was another session too that had Tekken, 3SOE, and some other fun games.
If someone ignored you it is uncool, but the fact that you’re willing to ignore an open invitation to a few sessions and then complain later isn’t either. Plus I’ve personally said myself that if people are trying to play then hit me up and we can see about doing something. Haven’t heard anything so usually I go out to open sessions with people and when there’s none I’m on Gears or Halo if I’m available. Don’t know if you play Tekken, but if you do you definitely need to hit up Ling.

Yea I love all three, FG, Puzzle games, and Shooters(Shumps). They are the Holy Trinity of Arcade gaming. Followed closely by arcade rhythm games and shooters like Time Crisis.lol Yea I grew up in an arcade. I’m that old.
Has anyone else noticed Frank West “Level Ups” and how exactly they work? Getting more interested now in Frank and want to test it out.

Pretty sure Porter is in Fuquay (sp?) so it’s kind of hard to make it out to an EZ and even more so a Charlotte Ranbat I think he was looking for something a little more locally.
Sofa… I am 17…without a license… in Fuquay Varina. The only person near me is Rob (Trykt), but I’m busy with school and work most of the time and can’t hit him up.
The likelihood of me hitting up Charlotte or EZ is non existent. My mom is still pissed from when Luckys appeared to fry my PS3.
When I ask if any games are happening, the farthest I’m looking to go is Raleigh. I should probably have clarified that, but i just assumed people knew where Fuquay was in relation to everywhere else. As long as it’s on a weekend, or a day I don’t have work I’m gonna try my damnedest to make it. Sadly I’ve been swamped with stuff for the past three months.

Actually it was Rachael, Nu-13, and Arakune. Carl was and always has been a top tier character, and people who are good with him do really well, but he will always be THE least played character in the game.
