I always thought option select was a win/win 1-move situation. Like how mashing jumping f+H with She-Hulk option selects you with a free throw into combo if its not close enough to activate her football kick into full combo.
I didnt know you had to “do” an OS, I always thought your opponent had to react to it because it was always a situation in your favor.

SF4 is kinda… fun sometimes. There’s still stuff I don’t like about it but I do enjoy tournaments for it. I just don’t play the game outside of them because I find it to stressful. If my half assed Fei stops getting me top 3 I’ll probably just stop entering, but I like beating people. I just hate hate hate playing the game against people that go hard on SF4… that game can get incredibly lame and winning boils down to who walked backwards more. It’s just not stimulating to me, I just wanna be actively doing more shit and less waiting.
AH3 is really fun, I dunno why KOF would kill it. They’re kinda unrelated. Clash system is stupid, but otherwise no complaints. What happened to just having a better hitbox than the other guy lol
I’m starting to enjoy playing MvC3 more. Sure it’s bullshit, but it’s fun. So much freedom for creativity.
Yeah, I don’t think KOF would take much from Arcana in general. The games aren’t really similar to each other.
I see where you all are coming from indeed. I Personally feel like I’ve cheated myself some how from playing other games that I know I like by playing too much STF4 the last few years. I have a ton of FGs at home that I haven’t even began to explore. MBAA is one of them, That being said I’m gonna start focusing on what I actually enjoy doing, so that I can feel a sense of fulfillment. BBCS2 is my main game now, I still play GGXXAC, and I wanna get back into MB before DEC. KOF is around the corner and is a dope game with a lot of love put into it, its not a cash cow its a GOOD GAME.I will still play 3SOE,cz I still enjoy the system and characters. Last night I played Rumble Fish for about 1 hour and was having a blast. So I guess it just depends on what you wanna get out of your time. Like Corner Trap said I don’t wanna feel like I’m going to work when I play video games. It’s a competitive past time for me.
Yeah, playing games you don’t like will do nothing but burn you out. I’m glad to see games like KOF, Melty, and SC5 making an appearance again.

Fate Unlimited Combos lol
I actually was in Japan when Fate Unlimited Codes first came out in arcades I think. Though I never actually got to play it (losing in AH2 / T6 took all my money. lol).
I’d still wanna try it out though. And lol. As Chris’ post infers, I know it has some pretty serious combos. 
Yeah the combos get kinda crazy,lol. Yet it had a unique system which was pretty original.Demarcus was the only guy to ever play this game with me out side of Japan…only once.lol
As for tonight’s games at my place… due to the overwhelming lack of enthusiasm to play fighting games in Fayetteville lately. I’ll just say if anyone want to come by and play tonight just post that you are coming in the thread or just give me a call…I’ll be here.
