The point of the initial post was that you said FE was hard, discredited ShinsoBEAM (since he “only” played “half”), and your explanation is because some community of gamers who enjoy the game decided to make a set of rules to artificially increase the difficulty, an elitist way to feel “better” about your victory because you did it harder than it was supposed to be. Or also, a way to just make the harder cause it’s too fucking easy by itself. Like the FF1 all White Mage challenge, or no random battle FF6. Doesn’t matter if one jackass decides to do it or 30. If it’s not specifically required for completion, it’s optional. All mega buster runs of Mega Man don’t make it hard, when the boss weapons still own face.

Yeah, I’m good in vs mode cause I’ve got a pretty decent strategy for dropping shit on my opponents side of the screen, but when it comes to points, I got worked. I think the worst I did was like 7k to his 21k… I was like :eek:
As far as the gems go I’m hoping that they don’t completely destroy the game. So I’m wondering if it’s going to be anything like arcana hearts. I haven’t really learned in depth about it but I know you can choose different ummm…abilities? So for any arcana players how much do those options change up the game? From my understanding you can choose different ones to be able to do different moves or specials? Just thinking that sf x tekken might be similar but I honestly don’t know if arcana is even balanced in the first place.
It gives you normally 2-3 specials, 2 supers and a passive though these are just generalizations, and some change the properties on dashes, or super jumps or let you jump cancel off more stuff, and every one of them has a different defense/offense/meter building/meter regen/burst regen rate, but this sounds more like SCIV equips then Arcana’s Arcana system.

Why is everybody upset about a game that isn’t finished yet? SFxT with gems? Better play like Super Gem Fighter. Now that game is STILL fun to play. But who cares, THE GAME ISN’T FINISHED YET.

I’m a bad arcana player who uses a very lame style, but certain Arcanas really change hard how I have to approach matchups, Water and Metal especially. I also play very different depending on which Arcana I use, I’m more aggressive with Flower then Sin. Water negates chip damage entirely, and water bubbles can destroy projectiles. Metal has a high damage super that starts around you, and comes out no matter what I think.
You get 1-2 specials, 1-2 supers, a blaze, and stat changes/passives.
Sin for example gives you a damage boost as you take damage, a little extra health (though you lose it by using your arcana specials), a short-range projectile added to your charged E attacks, takes a little health from your opponent, and gives you more meter from blocking/taking damage and less from attacking.
