Sorry yeah I meant the Tower, not sure why I confused it with the arena I thought those were called colosseum for some reason. You can always abuse the Arena though due to the gameboy versions always using the same string of RNGs but it takes considerable effort to do so.
I think I did all of these but getting all the chests but I got all the chests that had stuff that mattered I missed a few congrats you get X amount of golds, and not using pre-promotes is the smart thing to do I mean they have ASS stat growth and you need the rest of your party to be good ASAP. No I didn’t do it on an emulator either aka no save states.
Just saying I found the Advance wars series in general to be way more difficult on hard mode then FF ever was which only is going to be hard for a few levels at best on hard normally early on before you have anything, and you can easily get trolled by random luck. I don’t remember having problems at all once you got farther in the game, except in the one play though of FE8 where I fucked myself over trying out a weird party.
My friends have played FE6 and FE1 and they said they were easy and I’m pretty sure that FE2-3, and FE5 don’t have translations correct me if I’m wrong.
Yeah, because deliberately cutting corners for the sake of giving yourself a new challenge totally makes a game hard by default. Also, if a single section of an entire game is slightly difficult, it then in turn means the entire game is balls hard. Cause that makes sense. Just in case you guys didn’t know.
People said Demon Souls wasnt hard. Pffft. How about you strip down and use only a stick naked and don’t level up at all or use any items and play it with one hand and only use Fox on Final Destination with the debug mode cheat to cut your health in half and every time you take an ingame step you chug a Four Loko after you’ve been awake for 48 straight hours and grieving over your dead cat. Then you can talk to me about what’s hard.
I played the second Fire Emblem. That game was so ridiculous. Like I’d lose one teammate and have to wonder if I should just start the whole game over. D:
that was spencer, and he is just now learning 3S. we have had discussions before about ST stuff (which he is much better at). i can’t speak for him, but he’s probably still playing it like it’s ST, and throwing out those obvious pokes that don’t work as well in 3S. he’ll get there eventually.
when i was playing ST regularly there, most of my matches were one-and-dones like you mentioned, but every now and then someone good would show up and wed have a great run. id just go play pinball till i heard someone playing SF, then id head over and get in a match and see how it went. luckily lost ark has plenty of distractions.
LA hasn’t been around long enough to build any kind of “scene” though there a few regulars that might give you a challenge. i’m doing my best to try and grow it (why i won’t shut up about it), but i’m glad you at least checked it out even if you didn’t play anyone interesting.
as for the ST cab, they took out ST and put in 3S. dan is still experimenting with different configs to see what pulls better money. ST will be back in at some point (maybe the same cab, maybe alongside 3S) until he finds the right mix of games. your opinion counts, so if you want more/different fighters let him know.
Our game engine is completely done,as are all the character designs and music.We are currently scouting for animators and in between artist for the project.We are planning to release the alpha version at Comic Markert 82 next year,followed shortly by a digital DL.I can’t talk much about it since its still in development,but I’ll keep you guys posted.I can say that it is indeed a 2D fighting game. There are also 3 or 4 other projects that they have me working on, with later release dates.lol I’d really like to here about your beat em up you working on, sounds interesting. Its one of my favorite gaming genres.(^o^)/
