Kris: Just Jayoku raw off of the command grab. Also, don’t do Jabaki in a combo until you connect a sweep. Good stuff otherwise.
Dale: Much improvement has taken place. Just, when you do your bnb off of the juggle with 5A-6A, 5A, use advance input to hit the j.2A (where you hold the button down and the game accepts the input for 5 frames). You seemed to be dropping that quite a bit.
Also (everyone), stop rage bursting! I do enjoy the free guard breaks, but seriously!
Tager isn’t that bad in CS2, he just has a shitload of bad fights, but none are worse than 6-4 from what I can tell. He got buffed heavily in EX as well.
I can’t say I have ever rage bursted myself… but I thoroughly enjoy it when others do it. I have implemented burst baiting in my game, afterall. I suppose Valk just has the freedom to do that whenever he pleases at any given moment, due to the nature of his character.
If only certain Rachel players took my bait.
Speaking of Rachel that is just a matchup I have yet to understand. Both times I’ve fought one ( the same one ) I come out alive in the end by the skin of my teeth. There has to be some kind of secret to that bitch that I just don’t understand. Other than to stop testing her 6A.
As far as Iron Tager goes, the stuff I have seen from him in extend makes me rage. Why? Because I am just one of those guys that can’t do well against grapplers. Especially one that can turn the tables with just one more. It doesn’t help that Valkenhayn has such shitty health to begin with.
We’ll probably have a session at Sal’s today and discuss the Fayetteville carpool situation there. We have a lot of players thinking about coming including me, you, Sal, Dustin, Raf, Kris and Nathan.

Isn’t the new BB called BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend? So why is everyone abbreviating it as BBCSEX instead of just BBCSE? Also when is it supposed to come out?
I have been promoting BB at ReSe and the last tourney was a 16 man entrance. I think it will be the same if not larger. I am trying to do this for games that have the people but don’t play too often. I have something in store for Tekken that should make it a 20+man bracket, stay tuned!
To be honest if we’re going to compare AH3 to Blazblue.
I actually enjoy Blazblue a lot more for the characters and wanna get back into it since the scene picked up again. It was pretty depressing watching the game die (in it’s CT days) since I would always go to the tournaments for it and then they got canceled. Of course when CS2 came out it was even more depressing that I felt at it’s release people didn’t give it very much of a chance.
It’s as Matt said at one point that BB is a series that has only been getting progressively better each new sequel which I agree with. Although overall my main loves are def AH3/BB and then AE is just what I play because it’s alright and has a lot of comp but I don’t have LOVE for it like the other two.
There’s no release date for console; JP arcades just got it last week. It’s really not different enough to wait for; if you plan on playing it, you should play CS2 to learn the system and get a foundation ready for your character.
There’s no secret to beating Rachel. Navigate around the maze of seeds and frogs, and be careful as hell if there’s a pumpkin in play. If she’s out of wind, she’s useless until she gets it back, so rape her in the meantime.

I didn’t say Tagar was all nerfed, just the spark plug thing; however he’s always seems to gravitate towards the low end of the tier lists. I just saw him do his new combo, the magnetized whiffed-collider into elbow drop one? That shit looks so cool.

Extend has already been confirmed for a December release on consoles in Japan. It’s coming out for the Vita and both PS3 and 360. Aksys has confirmed that they will be bringing the game to America for the Vita, but the other consoles are up in the air right now.
Turn outs have been good lately and we had tons of setups last time (lagless too!). Anyone that wants to come out is welcome to. Arcana players, feel free to come out too!
