The same thing actually happened to me as well. It took me two weeks to learn it though. However, I didn’t pick another character, I had to go to New york for a reunion so had no choice but to go a whole day without playing Noel. Surprisingly, when I came back I did it on my first try! dash and all!
I think its a matter of muscle memory or lifting weights, its ok to train, but taking a break or working on another part of the body or character allows you to grow.
Well done at evo HeartNana, one thing i was just wondering after i watched the videos. Who were the other two people on your team? did you just find two people playing BB and ask “hey you wanna win the 3v3 exhibition?”
you can 214a after tripping them with 6d?But its ok I found out a combo that does 4400 around.
I’ve notice after guard break combos give less damage.
I haven’t really read the thread carefully nor would I be able to determine if any combos mentioned are in this clip:

I just want to know if the above is a useful combo, situational (hitbox issue), or a good luck with landing that one buddy?
Can someone PLS help me out with this certain combo?
6B, 3C, 22C, dash 6C (BC), dash 6C, 5D, 6B, 5C, 6B, 5C, 236D
Now the problem I’m having with this combo is that I can’t connect after the first 5C. I’ve watched several videos of R-1 and I see him do 3x dash 6C’s, and then proceed to do the chain revolver combo mentioned above.
I’ve tried doing the 3 dash 6C’s as well, but I still get the same problem.
I can’t pinpoint where I’m going wrong in timing cuz I even wait for my opponent to drop as low as possible to begin the Chain Revolver combo but it still doesn’t connect after the first 5C. Btw I’ve also started it when they’re already high in the air from the setup combo, but to no avail either.
Any advice pls? I’ve been stuck with this shit for several days now…
Well my advice is after you press the dash 6C, immediately input D (as in a continuous motion without stopping) BUT do not press any button when you press D. Don’t even hold forward as if you were buffering into a 6B.
Once you hit confirm the D, then you press 6B, then 5C but with a slight delay. like quarter of sec lol. then 6B then 5C but this 1 is much slower than before like a half a sec because doing it quickly will make you miss. The finisher is just do it as you normally would
I will look at the dustloop forums.
Exactly!! i was so frustrated about it i just quit noel because how ridiculous it was to learn a character but freaking difficult it is to do her simple bnb combo.
I actually use both jin and noel together depending on who im facing lol. Thank you Ecards!!
What’s annoying though is after you’re happy with the result, you then realized that the opponent is moving making what you just practiced forever seemed like a waste because you cant start it!
You do figure out other ways 2 do it. I use her hadouken a few times then i run up to them and do whiff :lovin:
So has anyone else been called eddie gordo/ spam artist or is that just my friends bitching about her crossups?
ya know ive been toying with the idea of 22c 6c j.b+c 2b 6c j.b+c 2b 6c j.b+c now when i can land this it gets about 50% of a life bar but im kinda questioning how functional it is because when it lands its great but if they tech the throw i was better off doing the bread and butter combo
Thanks a shit load for the advice but one quick Q, when I input 5C for the first time should I wait for hit confirm to press the second 6B?
I like that combo Idea. Im gonna try it in training mode soon. Most people dont tech air throws unless theyre high level players and/or tech on reaction to the ! sign
and also I think you can try 3b instead of 22c the second time. it comes out in less frames. you should try that.
lol. as if eddie gordo took no skill to use in tekken at competitive level…
You can actually mess with their minds more with that Throw Loop if you add a jump cancel before the throw. You can j.b j.c air throw, then continue on. Air throws in your combos ALWAYS lead to more damage, but teching is always a factor. I use it rarely, but if its near end game and that throw will give me the win, I’ll go for it.
Also, I gotta thank HeartNana for that 214A mix up during the normal blockstring. I show a bunch of overheads, and afterwards I show the same pattern but then Command Throw to a huge combo. I simply love it.
ok so ive been testing this out alot and it is a nice trick to throw in but really isnt a very functional combo.
anyway ill post some data from training mode
dash in 6b 3c 22c 6c j.b+c 2b 6c j.b+c 2b 6c j.b+c j.d 28d is exactly 5k dmg and does combo with no chance to tech except on throw
i think its prolly better just to throw mabey one rep in with the j.b j.c j.236c to finish it
typo 6C sorry :wgrin:
Pretty sure i played you yesterday on XBL…I think were you the guy that did 2D, 28D every 5 seconds, which confused the hell out of me therefore it was effective lol.
I think they can tech roll after the second throw in that specific combo too. Regardless, its pretty situational, but nice none the less to have in the bag of tricks
Hmm well you can wait for it and its actually the best way to make sure the combo will keep going. It’s hard to get used to the timing but its basically that or a half a second delay either way it should work.
You can practice this in the corner if you cant do the loop consistently yet. Better yet, just do a couple of jabs, 5a, then 6C then instantly press D then do as i told you earlier.
This is where your combo ends. Have fun.
throw combos in this game aren’t very good cuse you know… you can break outta of em… so doing any throw in hitstun and blockstun during combos isn’t really worth it… so good luck doing that shit everytime shit even sometimes… it takes so long to brake throws in hitstun from this game… you been better off just doing a air combo instead of the throw… just learn 6C loops, the drive loop afterwards and the 22C loop… doing throws combos like that is useless… unless your opponet doesn’t have the reaction of a three toed sloth… then maybe… just maybe
