I think it’s smart from him. I mean, he was complaining before this movie that he wasn’t up to the physicality involved on this film. Also, even after this one he could still leave in a sort of a high note, I think the way the franchise is moving is smart to leave it before it sinks
Yeah I was shocked at the amount of takes needed just to jump a damn fence in an action scene for the right shot.
For example, in the Shawshank Redemption, Morgan Freeman ended up with his arm in a sling because he spent 6 hours reshooting the scene where he was tossing around a baseball on the prison yard. I can only imagine what that chase scene at the beginning of Casino Royale must’ve done to Craig.
jcvd holds it together because he never stopped training. he may not be training hardcore…but he clearly never stopped. you dont get to keep your flexibility at an old age for dudes…hes clearly doin some decently hardcore shit to his kicking abilities.
My most severe gripe with the Spectre film was when he shoots the oxygen (?) tank and the whole place blows up.
Is that really the only way Bond gets away?
They haven’t heard of this little thing, it’s called a radio?
Did they feel the need to spell it out to the audience? shrug
Also I like how Skyfall and this movie were on point about hacking and digital criminality.
A digital war is what we’re in all the time now.
I looked around and didn’t see any specifics on his new contract. He supposedly turned down 68 million before to keep playing Bond previously, I bet he GOT PAID! I would play Bond until I got Roger Moore old and they forced me to retire.
