I will miss GGPO. Being able to easily choose who you want to play in a fast interface with a great connection was good times.
If 3rdStrike OE ends up turning into a complete flop, I may go back to SuperCade.

Stop whining and buy the better-infused GGPO SFIIIOE. This stuff really makes me mad. You’d rather GIVE UP playing SFIII with others than just pay for the game? Get a job, buy the game, you’re a big kid now.
3so is not bad not at all its just that something that in my opinion was good was taken away.
The thing is, not every on GGPO owns a PS3 or a 360 and even if they do they were split by the consoles.

The thing is, how many people are now playing online 3S because of the 360/PS3 release? Will the numbers be greater then the previous GGPO numbers? Its a pointless exercise but I’m willing to bet that more folks have access to a 360/PS3 with online capability then a PC setup that can play 3S GGPO. I played 3S GGPO off a laptop with USB to PS2 controller adapter. This was a MacBook too, so I had the GGPO emulator running on top of a Windows emulator running on top OS X. The screen size was small but playable. Eventually my Windows emulation got broken and I was way to exhausted trying to make all of the different things to work to try again. I’m thankful we got 3SOE.
