Nioh - Nioh 2 out now!

Ebrietas was the hardest boss in bloodborne for me, and I couldn’t get pass the first DLC boss. Compared to dark souls 3, I don’t think I beat the first boss after 10 tries.

Here’s the secret to nearly the entire souls series: Lock-on and strife, and abuse 900 frames of invincibility via dodge, then land a few hits, and repeat.

The secret to beat any Soulsborne game:

Dat headbang looking like you’re ready to see some yokai on the bball court.

The dragon boss fight after Kelly is retarded. Boss gauntlet before Kelly was free, Kelly was free, but this fight is crazy.

Kelley soft as fuck lol

Harder to learn how to play but easier once you do. Unfortunately the real challenge isn’t until late game or post game content(basically ng+)

Dont know if i’m just severely underlvld, but…
Way of the strong is kicking my ass more so than any souls game ever did.

I dunno, some of the bosses really fucked me up in this game. There are also a bunch of situations where the game puts you up against multiple enemies and if you don’t think on your feet quick enough it’s GGPO.

I was looking at the trophies for this game and the Platinum doesn’t seem TOO bad. Clearing all the missions looks the most annoying, especially since of the missions you have to do was one you were complaining about - fighting Nobunaga and the Ice Chick at the same time.

You still using high stance axes for everything?

I did a few missions in NG+ and it doesn’t seem TOO bad. Ninjutsu seems more useful than ever. The normal enemies are more annoying than the bosses so far, they have a crazy health pool and deal crazy damage. The bosses take insane damage, I took out Nue and the guy at the top of London tower with no problems at all. I used the magic that cuts defense and I took him from 60% health to death in like 10 seconds with Swords.

I like axes but I find the moveset of the sword so much more fun. I’m trying to use axes and other weapons more though so I unlock the last masteries for their respective trophies.

Parry and followup with Katanas is ridiculously strong.

fixed it for you

I refashioned all of my armor to the Gold Nioh armor set. Looks too cool not to.

I don’t mean this as a put down, it really just sounds like you’re not 100% used to the system yet(which isn’t to say I am either, but I feel like I’m at least 95% there). The game definitely got easier over time for me at least, with only a few hiccups, two post game side mission spikes, and Way of the Strong being assuredly hard

I super agree on the regular sword moveset being amazing though

Bro I’m so used to the combat system Big Willy AKA Anjin instantly casts Ninjutsu and magic on himself now.

I’d say I’m AT LEAST 96% there.

I can’t wait for PvP just to see how busted it’s going to be. Quick cast a guy with Sloth then hit him with Life Seal and activate unlimited living weapon through soulstones. Then next game we both trade Sloths and play it out in slowmo.

Pretty sure PvP in this game is gonna be a complete joke and not to be taken very seriously.

Whoever has the best guardian spirit wins

etc etc

Yeah, whether or not PvP is any fun depends on if they have rule sets. If they make it like the duel side missions it could be fine, but sloth absolutely needs to be nerfed

Did every single mission in the game except for 2-3 Twilight missions. Hope tomorrows missions are the ones I need.

80% trophy completion. I just need to find all Kodamas, find all of the Hot Springs, talk to a couple 'o Yokai and finish the last two Twilight missions I need and that’s it.
