There are some tough songs to perfect on hard, and some songs have an extra superhard difficulty (1 2 Fanclub is the only one I’ve found so far). I do wish every song had a superhard difficulty, they could just add notes on the extra line or something. I was a little disappointed when I realized the demo songs were on hard mode, but they still have some tough perfects mixed in the song list.
I did all the songs on easy yesterday, alternating between button and tap mode. The songlist is pretty damn great IMO, although I wish there was 1 or 2 more Luka (Gumi addition makes up for that though). I had to change my button icons to arrows though cause I just kept fucking up on the X button. I was either hitting down because PS controllers or hitting left because Xbox.
I got bodied by Luka in the Reversi minigame. Thought I was the shit until she got them corners. I used to be ok at it a decade ago.
I been playing on Normal, after i complete the song list on Normal, I’m gonna tackle hard. And yeah the song list is pretty good. Espeically coming after PDF2nd which i felt the song list wasn’t that good imo. But so far this one’s been great. I’ll have an updated opinion once i clear out all the songs.
I need to finish Shantae. Because I also have Risky’s Revenge and Pirate’s curse as well lol. Streets of Rage on the go is too damn good.
Also tried out the demo for this game Rhythm Thief, pretty fun shit. And it’s the type of rhythm game I like where there is shit going on like Parappa, Space Channel 5 and etc. I’m gonna get it off eshop once I got more space, which means I need to beat some of these digital titles. But yeah you guys should check it out. game is $20 on eshop vs $70 for a physical copy lol
Ah could you elaborate on what you didn’t like it about it? It seems more like a puzzle/adventure game, with rhythm game sections. So i can see if there’s alot of room for a flaw. ut the demo only has 3 rhythm set pieces so that’s all i can judge off for now
Gaikotsu Gakudan to Riria on Hard With the circle speed at fast is hard as fuck. Buttons just flying much harder to read and react for fast shit in this. Hell even with the circle speed low this shit is going to be tough to perfect, it feels harder than the f2nd songs.
Some songs I can’t skip when I start playing and it’s slowing down my progress lol. Sweet Magic, Animal Fortune-Telling, Payapaya, Happy Synthesizer, LOL -lots of laugh-, 1 2 Fanclub…If I even hear a portion of them scrolling through the list I have to play it. Honestly feels that way for most of the songs. If it weren’t for F2nd Edits I could definitely see my playtime on this eclipsing that. It damn sure will as far as the official game songs go.
Also I haven’t heard a bad jazzy Meiko song yet, so hopefully Project Diva X has more of those.
I want SOR3 but from what I read, they had such trouble porting 1 and 2 that 3 might not happen, and hasn’t been announced. A 16-bit game in THIS day and age is hard to port?? DAMN.
Finally sat down and finished project X zone. I had been on a certain mission since forever. Despite the whack ass story the game play is super fun. Though once you figure out how to handle boss characters the game becomes really easy (Any unit with block cancel or counter cancel should be the only units attacking the bosses unless they have a Double Team attack stocked that will kill them)
Now To tackle Fire Emblem. Are there any other good tactic games on the 3DS? I’m kind of an SRPG mood.
