Anyone have Kirby 3D? looks amazing, but my backlog going to keep me too busy to play most of the 60 games I’m hype for in 2014 lol.
Probably going to start Castlevania Portrait of Ruin next. Dawn of Sorrow which I beat like 2 or 3 years ago is one of my favorite CV’s hope this one doesn’t disappoint as I’ve heard about its Super Mario 64 level structure and I don’t like the idea of controlling 2 characters simultaneously, but I’m going in with an open mind.
Kirby Triple Deluxe is amazing.
Skip that and go to OOE (Order Of Ecclesia) if you can. PoR is okay, but Order blows it up.
OOE lets you do reppukens/double reppukens.
I loved Portrait of Ruin.
Definitely worth a shot.
Kirby Triple Deluxe is fun. If you’re expecting a challenging game (for whatever reason…I’m looking at you Jose Otero of IGN) then you’ll be disappointed. I’m enjoying looking and exploring the levels to find all the sun stones. The 3D is done pretty well on it but it’s not to the level of Kid Icarus or 3D Land but it’s nice and the game is pretty relaxing. Sword Kirby takes more cues from Link now…not only did they give that ability a Spin Attack but they gave it the skyward strike from Skyward Sword. Still miss the wrestler ability…I wanted to tap dance on some heads.
Loving Fire Emblem Awakening right now. I bought the golden pack, as well as lost bloodlines 2. Promoted Chrom to Great Lord, my unit Vagrant to Grandmaster, and Lon’qu to Assassin. Only lost one unit (Stahl). I’m working on levelling my cats up to the max before promoting them, though I don’t know what to do with Frederick. Also thinking about getting Vagrant and Tharja together, as well as trying to beat lb2 for the dread class. About to fight the mad king soon. I can’t put this shit down! That reminds me, I still need to get a stylus for this thing…
Don’t worry so much about Frederick. Use him to weaken stronger units but never kill since he sucks up Exp.
Exp shouldn’t really be an issue because spot pass.
Gameplay is good on both, but seriously, Fuck Shanoa, She annoys the shit outta me.

I’m in something akin to RPG heaven (or Hell) right now.
I still haven’t gotten all the endings to SMT4 (fucking hate how hard it is to the get the neutral ending), last left off in the desert strata of Etrian Odyssey Untold (fucked myself on story mode by switching classes for shits and giggles and now that I messed around with the new classes I want my old ones back) and I am midway through Bravely Default.
And I’m fiending for another Fire Emblem type SRPG.
Got Frederick to level 20, then promoted Tharja, Kellam, Sully, and Cordelia (Sorcerer, General, Paladin, and Falcon Knight) after maxing their levels as well. Also got Rightful King for Chrom and maxed Vagrant’s Grandmaster class. I’m tripping out at how Vagrant can become anything now.
