Nintendo 3DS - Best Handheld Today

So you’re not just @Vynce‌ 's bitch anymore hmmm lets see how he feels about sharing.

It’s like Dark Souls insofar as it’s only hard until you learn how to parry lol, but really cool to see another SRK’er show some love to one of my all time favorites  Reading YouTube comments about the game really reminds me how dumb the majority of gamers are, apparently a lot of Shinobi fans didn’t buy it because it has bad graphics, doesn’t play exactly like Shinobi 3, or wasn’t on console :looney:

Bious can exact his revenge on me in Smash, too. It’s going to be a real headache adding everyone lol.

I’mma body you all so no worries about Bious.

You’re absolutely right you will body me…when I’m bored of winning with TL and pick random =P.

dem’s fighting words.

TL sure does have a big head for Captain Falcon to repeatedly knee bash into concussion territory. Easy match-up.

Capcom hasn’t forgotten Mega Man completely:

^I’d argue this is more of Nintendo’s doing.

I’d trust Capcom with Mega Man like I’d trust a crackhead with $20…

Last time I checked Capcom owns Mega Man, so without them letting it happen we wouldn’t be getting Mega May 3DS. I’m very excited as I never played the handheld MM’s. Apparently Mega Man Xtreme combines X1 and X2 that’s interesting.

He’s not the only one.

But for reference I still think Revenge of Shinobi is the best one.

I don’t see why there isn’t a (real) Trials game on 3DS. It’s the perfect fit for it.

Trials Fusion is on my radar, if I’m lucky I’ll get to it by 2015  Oh and you guys will be happy more eshop love!

My favorite game of all time.

Finally got around to 100%-ing A Link Between Worlds. Now for the Hero Mode run. They aren’t kidding around with the damage you take there…

Has anyone tried Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies? Was thinking of getting it, never played a Phoenix Wright game before. The demo was pretty neat.

PW Dual Destinies is gdlk.

Finally Beat Fire emblem Awakening, with all the supports maxed, Now I gotta go and Beat PxZ.

And then I’ll be moving onto pokemon.

Dont play dual destinies first or pxz.
Pxz is fun for at max the first 10 hours in this 40-50 hour game.
It’s pretty brain dead and repetitive.

Beating PXZ is an amazing accomplishment.
I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
That game has zero strategy. It’s zerg rush all day.

Teaser for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire:

Flipped that Mario Kart 7 from the 3ds my brother found in my grandparent’s garage for $19.50 at Gamestop (ugh, I know) and copped dat Fire Emblem for just about half off. Enjoying it so far, but I didn’t know that there was so much damn dlc! Which ones would you guys suggest? Also, any tips for the game? This is my first Fire Emblem game and I’m running normal/classic to start.

Yanked from gamefaqs only because everyone i’ve talked to on the subject has basically the same opinion

[details=Spoiler]"As packs, almost every one has one somewhat weaker map. But here’s a general idea:

Top Tier
-Golden Pack: Infinite Regalia and Golden Gaffe are endlessly useful, and Exponential Growth is a decent earlygame grinding map.
-Future of Despair: There aren’t any noteworthy rewards, but it has the best writing and makes the children characters feel relevant. Plus, it’s actually comparatively challenging.

High Tier
-Lost Bloodlines: LB2 gives you the Dread Fighter, and LB3 gives you both Paragon and the best high-level grinding map in the game.
-Scramble: It allows sparkly tiles to be ground and gives you some fantastic conversations if you don’t want to just look them all up on Youtube.

Mid Tier
-Smash Brethren - SB2 gives you Bride, SB3 gives you the decent Iote’s Shield skill.

Low Tier
-Rogues and Redeemers - RR3 gives you Limit Breaker.

Bottom Tier
-Champions of Yore - The only noteworthy thing you get is All Stats +2, which is a filler skill through and through.
-Challenge - It’s actually not that hard and only especially noteworthy if you like the Whitewings.

Now, ranking specific DLC episodes, here’s a different list:

Top Tier:
-Infinite Regalia - Allows you to gain multiple Regalia, comes with Silver Card, surprisingly decent story.
-Lost Bloodlines 3 - Best high-level grinding spot and comes with a great skill to do it.
-Golden Gaffe - Allows money to be ground easily and quickly, fairly amusing.

High Tier:
-Lost Bloodlines 2 - Dread Fighter Class
-Smash Brethren 2 - Bride Class
-Rogues and Redeemers 3 - Limit Breaker skill

Mid Tier:
-Exponential Growth - Decent low-level grinding course.
-Champions of Yore 3 - All-Stats +2 is an alright backup skill for first-gen characters.
-Smash Brethren 3 - Iote’s Shield exists and if you really have nothing better to use there you go.

“Hey, it’s X!” Tier: If you adore the character, you can buy them, but otherwise just avoid them.
-Champions of Yore 1 - Marth
-Champions of Yore 2 - Roy
-Lost Bloodlines 1 - Leif
-Smash Brethren 1 - Elincia
-Rogues and Redeemers 1 - Ephraim
-Rogues and Redeemers 2 - Celica

Characterization Tier: If you like the game’s characters, then these are top-tier, otherwise, eh.
-Future of Despair 1 - Cynthia/Nah/Kjelle/Noire
-Future of This Pear 2 - Brady/Yarne/Inigo/Owain
-Future of Despair 3 - Lucina/Severa/Gerome/Laurent
-Harvest Scramble - Homoeroticism
-Summer Scramble - Cordelia, Chrom, ‘n’ Curtains
-Hot Spring Scramble - Hey, we [the spotpass characters] remembered how to talk!

Challenge Tier: The game’s alleged ‘challenge’ maps, sorted in decreasing difficulty.
-Apotheosis - IMO a must-have, makes you actually think a bit.
-Death’s Embrace - Not terrible, but the map gimmick makes you think a bit and the story is surprisingly dark.
-Five-Anna Firefight - It’s only hard if you don’t abuse Galeforce.
-Roster Rescue - You’re only doing it for the pre-battle text and Palla’s Rally Strength."[/details]
