Nintendo 3DS - Best Handheld Today

Shin Megami Tensei 4 on the 3DS?

Well, looks like I can’t wait for the holidays to start… gotta cop one in advance

Never experienced this problem with the 3DS or the two XL’s I’ve played on.

Please tell me there’s a way to raise funds for public works in AC. I don’t want to have to fund that shit by myself, but I really want the bridge I’m making.

I’ve had that problem with both my DS lites. I haven’t had my 3DS for even a month yet so I can’t say. However, this BETTER not become an issue again…

I was wondering if DSTwo can even work on an OG 3DS. Or if only up to a certain update, than which, because I updated my 3DS for like the 2nd time yesterday…

It’s an issue on my 3DS and it’s extremely aggravating. Was an issue on my old DS too, it’s ALWAYS the right trigger. I dunno if I’m pressing it too hard or what.

Same here… It was the R Trigger on both my DS’s too. I tend too lay on my right side when I play so, maybe that’s the issue? I’m trying not to do that with my 3DS.

And not one of them is coming to the US.

Once again, we get the shaft… Why can’t the US have nice things? :frowning:

It can work on any DS or 3DS iirc.

So Far nothing yet. Hope it stays that way I habitually lay to my left but my R button still fucks up on handhelds. However, this time I corrct myself if I do something like that.

The good thing is I think my r buttons will last longer because it was 260 dollars worth of a new system, and not something I didn’t treat right because it wasn’t any cost from me to get it.

Sounds like bad luck. I hope you had Nintendo fix them for you.

The only problem I had with my original 3DS was low sound volume. I sent it to Nintendo and they fixed it for me. I have no problems with the 3DSXL so far.

Is PXZ worth it?

Ehh. It turned out more linear than I thought but it’s presentation is admirable of it being a 3DS game. I’m possibly ten hours in and it’s a fun time but not too substancial.

There is a training mode that I haven’t utilized although it gives me hope for later gameplay.

I would just rent it from Gamefly really. It will take a large portion of your time but definitely not cause of its story and mechanics. It’s dope eye candy, that’s about it. You’ll get a little joyful because of cameos (namely Jedah, Dimitri, and Zabel) but once you witness the bullshit they’re talking, you’re only in it for the battles. The game doesn’t force stats on you which was a letdown. You basically need your strongest party (Akira and Pai for me) and bulldog everything making it linear to a degree. Little things like breaking items and objects was a nice implement but doesn’t save the overall package.

LE copy comes with the soundtrack, a pretty neat art book and a small poster. Pretty nice stuff but for a mediocre game.

It just felt empty of a total experience.

Rental at best ehh? I’ll pass then, the games I have now should suffice. I still need the LV2 sword in Zelda seasons.

You’re pretty much stuck footing the bill for every single public works project in ACNL. From time to time, the villagers donate a few hundred bells, but for the most part, it’s all on you. An easy way to earn bells is to go to Tortimer’s Island and catch some bugs, namely the bigger ones hanging on the trees.

Cool. I’m just trying my hardest to not get bricked

Old ass strategy here so may not still work, but back on the origional animal crossing and the DS one fishing for red snappers and selling them was a good money maker.

For those of you playing Project X Zone and yeah mega spoiler alert here again too:

[details=Spoiler] How in the -FUCK- do you beat Chapter 41? I can get the barrier down fine and beat some of the bosses I fought before. But shit they all come back once the barrier is down. I’ve tried two ways and basically wasted at least 4-5 hours total on it. One I tried beating all the old bosses and that didn’t work. Second try I tried just beating them down to a little hp the first time so they couldn’t come back a second and that really really didn’t work. I know about the skill that’s 130% XP and fully heals everyone but didn’t even get a chance to use it. Plus second try I couldn’t even revive anyone too it seems. I guess it’s just a certain turn/effect or whatever. And you seem to be able to only do it once. They die again and they can’t be brought back a second time. This game is just like Mega Man 7 all over again. Easy till last fight then fuuuuuuuuuck you. I’m open to any advice here as I’ll continue to try beating this and trying different ways to do it.
