First 2 levels of Sonic: Lost World. I love how the SMG influence fundamentally changes 3D sonic in a fun and innovative way and the 2D sections look completely different (AKA better) than the Rush series and Sonic Colors. Don’t get me wrong I love SC 3DS but it was ultimately a good version of the poorly designed shitty Rush games more or less.

LOL @ Shinobi 3Ds hate, gamers more often than not are among the most close minded, ambivalent, and judgmental groups around. Shinobi 3DS is very is drastically different than S3, but it’s also clearly as sincere a love letter to it as any developer could make which is why it’s so GDLK. Hating S3DS and loving S3 is like hating Bayonetta while loving DMC3.
Zoo, your love for Shinobi has actually got me more interested in the game than any trailer or review could. Its also available for like $10 at Walmart, totally copping this week.

Shinobi and Galaga Legions (part of Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions) are easily my most played and favorite 3DS games. And I have a shitload of games for the system. I love Fire Emblem and every other AAA 1st party title, but these two games are addicting and challenging in just the perfect way.
I fucking wish 3DS had Space Invaders Infinity Gene.
Keep an eye out for Target sales. I got my XL for $159.99 early April.

What I find even funnier is that they’ll turn around and hype the fuck outta the Souls games or Super Meat Boy for the same reason (while also overrating their difficulty).

The next Mighty Switch Force needs a level editor and level sharing. I feel every Platform/Puzzler should have one nowadays. MSF2 is still fantastic though and something I want to fully speed run if I ever get the free time.
You won’t be disappointed, unless you rage at cheap enemy placement and throw your 3DS at the wall. Shinobi 3 is one of my all time favorite games so it’s only natural for me to love a superior version of it that also finally gives us what we wanted for years: a 2D Ninja Gaiden:tup:
Griptonite Games which has been dissolved most likely due to poor Shinobi sales actually pitched the idea of a Shinobi reboot to SEGA, it was a passion project for them and it clearly shows when playing it. I’ve never heard of Griptonite before Shinobi but it’s sad to see a developer that made such a GDLK game our of pure nerd fan service go under. More impressive is that instead of making it casual friendly they went the opposite direction making it harder than most classic 90’s side scrollers on a Nintendo platform.

I might put Shinobi 3DS in my top 15 favorite games ever, it’s really the perfect platformer and beat’emup combined, and really nails the feel of being a badass ninja better than any other game IMO.
Space Invaders IG is great but it’s already on ios, I love playing it on ipad but I don’t think I’d pay for a 3DS version.
I only have one issue with AC…as much as I love it, I really only get to play it late night when all the damn shops are closed! I can’t sell shit!
