From the 3DS home menu, hit the button at the top of the bottom screen with the smiley face.
Thats your friends list. From there, you can add and register friends by exchanging friend codes. It will tell you yours as well.
Message people here and ask to exchange friend codes.
Friend codes still piss me off, but at least its one code per console, as opposed to the Wii and OG DS “different code for every damn game” set-up.

I’m not sure, haven’t heard anything about it. I know the WiiU has screen-names over FCs though.

Finally got Mario Kart 7. I tried to get it Thursday at the nearest GS but they took the last remaining new copy out of its box and couldn’t find the box.

They tried to sell me a new copy of SCV without the box once… Lol. I had to return Star Ocean: The Last Hope because they sold it to me without the 3rd disk too.
i’m scared to buy animal crossing. i’ve never played any of the other titles ,so i don’t know if i have the time to play it.
I wasn’t sure about it ether, but I’ve been playing it for about an hour everyday and enjoying it a lot. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there is just something so damn satisfying about customizing your house and town. I understand it’s not for everyone though, and there is some grindy tasks involved.
It’s a good way to pass a lunchbreak at work too.
Animal crossing is ok until you pick up another game for a month or so then come back and find your town in ruins and everyone hating you.
The real time clock basically turns it into a chore.
The game is the best! Don’t know shit about the game but it got the girlfriend off the PS3 since it launched. I ain’t complainin’.
From what I understand of the game, the negligent part pretty much kicks in if you’ve abandoned it like Iduno said. I’m sure if you tuned into your city once every two week you should be fine.
Ghost Trick is a fun game, and the animation is great. The writing is funny too, reminds me of Phoenix Wright.
I’m happy DS games can be played in their original resolution on the 3DSXL, as opposed to the vanilla 3DS (the screen was way too small). Even playing the games fullscreen isn’t as bad as it was on vanilla.
Project x Zone is sold out on amazon and I refuse to give my money to Scamstop. What to do?
Start searching for smaller video game stores that might be in your area. Also, don’t forget about stores like Walmart or Target or Best Buy. Or just bite the bullet and get it from GameStop (just don’t buy it used).
Got my 3DS XL today… Sucks that it only comes in two colors. I was contemplating buying a regular 3DS just so I could get the Midnight Purple color lol. Anyway, I picked up White Version 2 and Kingdom Hearts: 3D.
There’s actually special colours for the XL that I think are rare now. I saw them when I went to register my XL and I had to choose which colour I got.

I’d add Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon to that spot-on list. Surprisingly fun, robust game. Still need to get DKCR and check out Shinobi.
They were only released outside the US… Really, Nintendo? No Black or Black/Silver for Americans? Whyyyyy?!
I’ll pick some of those up somewhere down the line… I’m not really interested in Cave Story or DKCR, though.
