Emerald for me, and even then just briefly. These new Pokemon got progressively…wierder, I preffered my animals and shit lol. But B/W2 is pretty damn fun so far and looks nice. I look forward to X/Y Battle of the Poke Chromosomes.
There’s something about the 3DS XL that nintendo really doesn’t want you to know though too. Yes there’s better battery life. BUT the top screen on a 3DS XL isn’t as sharp as a normal sized 3DS. That’s how they get the extra battery life. So basically the white part of the menu screen on the top is a lot more white on a normal 3DS and such. And you shouldn’t expect anything less from nitnendo. They’ll be another model later on that will “fix” this problem too. I say this as I own a 3DS XL and normal 3DS.
I would have bought the XL by now if it wasn’t for them refusing to put the god damn second analog on it. I want it…I want it real bad but I’m find with my regular 3DS with 3x battery pack on it until they finally decide to release the revisions with what I want on it.
hmmm. im kinda put off by the XL as well just for the fact that apparently the resolution isnt actually any better then the regular 3DS which can make the games look more pixely.
are the 3X battery packs pretty readily available at retailers? looks like i may have to invest in one of those.
Sound quality of 3DS is better than XL, only because of the material that the shell is made out of. Plus it just feels more solid, especially if you have the Nyko battery pack. This also makes the battery life better than XL. Still, I sold my 3DS after buying the XL. I like the large screen (pixel issue isn’t noticeable to me) and the feel of the XL better. The placement of the stylus is far more intuitive with XL also.
I can’t wait for the day SNES and GBA games become available on 3DS, as well as Majora’s Mask.
If I’m in a stable position where I can maintain that “sweet spot”, I’ll have the 3d on in full blast. But if I’m not, then it’s off. Some games have a wider sweet spot area than others, so that factors in too. For example, in Super Mario 3D land, the slightest movement seemed to blur the hell out of things. Very annoying.
Beat her on neutral (I think it was just a case of staying buffed, keeping her debuffed and spamming wind attacks), but I hear she is harder in the chaos path.
