If there are any fighting game players that complain about repetition, they need to be punched in the face.
stupid school hasn’t given me much time to lay down and play for good amount of time which to me is like 3-4 hours.
mainly have had to play in short 30 min intervals.

Whoa, Shin Megami Tensei 4 will be out in the US this Summer. Way sooner than I though it’d get here, but I remember hearing them stating they’d start localization on this much sooner since it is a big title.
Soul Hackers will be here in 2 weeks, I think.
Edit: Oh, Capcoms new IP, Gaist Crusher looks interesting too. It’s like a cross between Megaman Starforce and Monster Hunter. Too bad we probably wont get it:

Harmo Knight is amazing and its just goes to show you that most of the 3DS eShop games are better than the actual 3DS games out there.

Funny…now that I think about it there was a Saint’s Row game planned in development for the 3DS at one point and that got quietly canned too.
Didn’t know Shin Megami Tensei IV was going to be $50. I’ll still get it its looking pretty good to me.

Sad about the cancelled Contra game, but I don’t want Mercury Steam anywhere near Contra. Their take on Castlevania is quite enough I think.

HarmoKnight is seriously good shit GameFreak. I know those guys have been stuck in Pokemon hell for the longest time but hopefully this game sells and they can actually spend less time on stuff like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and more on stuff like this. This could easily be the start of a nice IP that could easily go hand and hand with Rhythm Heaven. Tempo needs to be an assist item in Smash where he just clubs the shit out of everyone to the beat of whatever music is playing on the stage.
Edit: In other news…Wind Chime Chasm is beating my ass in the later parts of this stage. I have the rhythm down for the beginning parts but then when I have to start doing near megman pixel perfect jumping while attacking is when I start to lose it lol.
The loss of an updated port of SR to 3DS isn’t something even diehard fans of the series will lose sleep over but no Contra…man this is fucking heart breaking, even though it wasn’t WayForward working on it, Konami’s reboot or whatever it was would most likely have taken cues from 4 which is one of the best fucking games ever.

Also promised back in 2010 but never shown since: Ninja Gaiden (NG DS was my favorite of the series), Warner Bros developed Batman, and A boy and his Blob. Fortunately at least NG is still in development and I have faith it will play like the DS one since Hayashi said it will play completely differently than the console versions.
Anyways Harmoknight looks exactly like the 8237219871278 endless runner type games on ios. No thanks, Sonic Dash is enough for me. Also it doesn’t help that the art style is terrible IMO and as I get older visual aesthetic is becoming increasingly more important to me.
Can anyone recommend some good games to download or buy for my 3DS. I’ve had it since it first dropped but I am just now starting to put time in it and going back to beat old games.

Shinobi, CaveStory 3D, Super Mario 3D Land are must haves IMO. Mighty Switch Force and Pushmo are great too on the downloadable front.
Night Sky was fun. Ambient puzzle platformer.
Galaga Legions is super fucking fun if you like shmups. It’s part of Pac-Man & Galaga Diensions.
Kersploosh! is fun too, if you like tunnel style games (N2O: Nitrous Oxide or DYAD for example)
I don’t think anyone here mentioned this game yet (nor would I think they’d believe me), but Harvest Moon: A New Beginning is one of the best in the series. If you never played a game in the series before, the best comparison I could make is that it’s Animal Crossing but with farming. The game starts off a little slow as it caters more to the crowd that never picked up a sim game before, but eventually you can get your farm up and running as well as making the town better for it’s inhabitants. You can pick up pretty much every solid object and move it somewhere else in your farm. That includes your house. You can even customize the town you live in to attract more inhabitants. The characters in the game are more memorable than some other HM games, and the same goes for the bachelors/bachelorettes you can marry.
