Nightmare on Elm Street (Remake BY MICHAEL BAY)

I dunno. Looking like this kinda makes me sad.

Dont forget the mandatory slow motion.

I think he’s just producing it like he did with every other horror remake he’s been apart of.

bay-motion!

This.

Drag Me To Hell was NOT a serious horror movie at all which is what made it so fucking good.

Just saw the trailer and your Lord has mistaken Katie Cassady for Hillary Duff for a bit. I got a bit excited because of the chance of Duff’s getting nude and nailed; but Katie Cassady is hotter anyway so this is good. The only thing interesting about this movie is a heavy sex scene. So when ever the Thread review for this movie gets posted, please remember to give clarification if Katie takes it off in the movie.

Just noticed “From producer Michael Bay”

Damnit Bay!

This would have been THE perfect movie to throw Megan Fox in. No lines needed:

  1. Shower scene
  2. Goes to sleep
  3. Dies

This way she’ll please all the fanboys, avoid the critics, and finish it off with a nice death to please the rest of us.

She’s have to speak in order to tell [insert random romantic interest here] to tell her he loves her at random points in the movie though.

not if she’s the 1st one to die:wink:

omg that is the worst thing i have ever seen in my life!
holiwood needs to be destroyed for the good of mankind.

huh? no robert englund?

Maybe he’ll walk by in a scene or have some witty phrase to say at the end. Or be some unimportant character who sells Freddy his sweater at the beginning of the movie.

Would be funny if he was one of the parents setting Freddy on fire in that initial scene.

Michael Bay has the Midas touch, its just too bad that his hands are perpetually covered in shit.

I will say that the trailer was tight, but all trailers for scary movie/big blockbusters are tight these days.

cheh, I wouldn’t have included the first part of the trailer where he gets torched…that part seems kind of silly to include in this…it just doesn’t really fit, imo.

Otherwise, I’m sold already. Freddy is one of my favorite horror icons, so I must see it. Plus, it has the delicious Katie Cassidy in there. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=katie+cassidy&aq=0&oq=Katie+Cassi&aqi=g1g-s1g8 Supernatural and (new)Melrose Place fans should recognize this sexpot immediately. PURE hotness. That girl is prime time, folks.

Yeah he looks kind of fucked up I agree, but I wonder what we’d think if he was smiling instead of making that 8| face. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see but if the new Friday the 13th movie is any indicator on how these go then I’m not holding my breath.

Really? I thought that was pretty neat they showed that. Who knows? Maybe in the beginning they’ll show him in a dark room with a kid. If they’re clever, you’ll just hear him laughing and the kid screaming as the camera pans out to the outside of the building. I mean, the dude kills children. Who knows what else he does to the kids. That’s where they can flesh out a lot of story if they’re bold in just a few minutes. You can begin to hate this guy for what he’s doing to kids. Then later, you’ll probably be cheering for him as he’s killing teens and shit.

Then you’ll come back to the realization he killed kids and you didn’t like it [depending on who you are] and now he’s killing teens and you’re cheering him on [once again, depending on who you are].

So many ways this film can go in just a few screens. Too much thought I suppose. Too much thought.

Trailer looked good, wont be as good as the original one, but I’ll take it for what it is.

This is exceedingly more thought than movies usually get from their makers.

should have remade the dream warriors.
