Here is some info about it.
Not sure how I feel about this one. This is a complete remake of the first one, but at the end of the trailer you see Freddy’s face and it does not freak me out like the original did.
I searched and did not see a thread on this. Figured people would be interested since this is a remake on a classic movie.
I never seem to be able to find good horror films to watch.
Last time a friend recommended me to watch Drag Me to Hell and I left the theatre laughing and pissed off. Both reactions were due to the movie being the stupidest shit I’ve seen in ages.
First of all, the goat alone makes Drag me to Hell one of the greatest films of all time. That goat stole the fucking movie.
But in general I don’t think enough people realize how much of the madness of the movie was intentional, especially the things which came off as being especially absurd.
can’t wait till hollywood starts making remakes of remakes:rolleyes:
Seriously, they gotta take more chances and allow more creative freedom. Sure, they’re scared of losing money on movies, but if they didn’t spend a gazillion bucks making them, it wouldn’t be as big a deal. Look at District 9, didn’t cost much and was probably the most creative movie this year.
Last night I saw Trick’r Treat. This movie was made in ‘07, but WB stopped it from releasing in theaters. The movie was surprisingly really fuckin’ good. Has this old school feel to it, much more than the Ft13th remake and I bet more than this Elm St. one too. Best Halloween-themed movie hands down imo. Doesn’t look like it cost much to make either.
There will be at least one explosion-related death, not including the explosion that kills Freddy after an explosion-filled battle in a place where you’d never find explosives anyway.
