Yea I have that problem either after looong sets against the same person that doesn’t learn or someone I just have no interest in playing against but most of the time its because of the 1st one :wgrin:
And once again, this is the reason why online gaming is important. Let me sum up the facts.
Now, the notes are complete. let’s continue on.
(Long read, to sum it up: People are pussies. They have no balls to insult you or your gameplay personally and even if it’s online through text. This includes the -hilarious- insult that I am random in my matches, because, being formulaic leads to an opponent parrying you and why they consider random to be a bad aspect of gameplay… is beyond me. Brit is a troll that raged about me years ago and to her assistance, came other pussies that could not tell me straight out what it was that upset them in our matches. Finally, the reality of this so called -hyped match- as it were on GGPO chat, was to test the quality of recording a live GGPO game with spectators coming in and out, and how much the game would suffer upon doing so. You will see several bugs occur and I will explain the story here.
In GGPO, there are often several bugs that occur if a match is laggy (for both ends). This is the list.
Black bar lines often from inputs between screen transition (or random)
Black screen from spectators coming in (random, that’s why there is a cut in some of the gameplay. I wanted to record so I just blocked, minimized, remaximized, and recorded again with fraps while blocking this time. Fraps has to be in fullscreen for me to record.)
**Choppyness: Often the pinnacle of parrying or not, it is very difficult on GGPO to parry or do much of anything because of this choppyness and you will see majority of the time, frames are lost.
**
The history behind this fight is this person, Brit, trolled about me many years ago in the SRK threads. Now, the threads there years ago are, I have to say, horse-shit. Many of the people posting about me (to my surprise, I did not know people said this about me after several years after they posted, and these people still played me too) could not stand me so much as beating anybody. So after several weeks of screwing around with Brit’s head and accepting a challenge in the middle of the night after I screwed around. I decided to use this as a test to see what recording on GGPO would be like and how it’d appear here. Since I was using GGPO often, she eventually came across and started flaming me about lag tactics and abuse and losing to me and so on. Then, at say… 4 in the morning in the middle of a december night. She eventually wanted to accept a challenge for once after she failed to post any valid material against me. This includes heresay of random players that are pussies and don’t explain any of this to me personally, secondly, this heresay is often used as material to feed a person like Brit’s own internet rage.
So, I give to you the ultimate awesome match of the century, and yes. She picked Yun SAIII as you will see in the next part in this lag, and secondly, she went apeshit about winning. This awoke several people who finally had the ball(s) to come out and flame me after their absence of several months**. The important fact though, she is celebrating and refusing to downsize this so-called victory because she beat me (with Yun SAIII to say the least) so I’m flattered**. I feel like I did well despite this hindering gameplay and lag and though she won, I don’t think I’m THAT good but oh well, as I say in the channel description. I play and I learn as I do so. And most notably, I never even knew such a thing like “bad games” threads even existed until recently.
By the way, in that case, Bad games to Nica K.O. for losing with Chun to me. That’ll be posted and neat, whoopee. As well as for the Bold on Suhpreme. Brit uses the random flaming of some guy who has not had the guts to talk to me ever until that early morning as some sort of way to back up her claim that I’m some troll. Secondly, we got metric here proving my point that once again he will not say such things to me face to face, as well as Nica K.O. Gutsi put it best, it is online. And the fact Brit made such a long post that has taken time, liberty, and effort with the nice bolding on the points she did not want omitted, well then.
Finally, let’s not forget that the entire point of this was to shut her up. And she still has not as it seems. So I will be the nice one to just make a wee little post.

Remember kids. If you think you’re good online, and back this up with say, a troll that uses faggot in every sentence (Suhpreme). Or a guy who preferred I did not record a vicious Chun beating on 2df (Nica K.O), Or if you’re a decent but predictable Akuma that follows the same string (metric) and so on. Never forget, you guys say BGS to me and cry about it on the threads for therapy, as for me, I say.**
GGPO
Online Third Strike, a game where if you don’t play by the others rules, you’re random when you beat’em.
you think your good now?
If I didn’t like playing somebody or if they were saying something insulting (which just about never happens really unless its a specific troll account and say a racial comment right off the bat) I just press ignore. Don’t have any other emotion to put any more care into it.
You two meet up at a tourney and record the match. Rivalry concluded.
I would like to have an ignore thing on GGPO. Kind of make not appear in the list and don’t let them challenge you. That would make playing online really much better.
In college at the moment.
That’s the beauty of the internet. You have a sort of posse banding together against someone who talks people down when they deserve it (Referring to SRK anyway). I even got bad rep (right? that’s what the red ambiguous bars mean around your name that you have to highlight with the cursor to see the description in hopes of something terrible and interesting but all that appears is your name or a generic “fire” related insult?) because of making such a noteworth post! As far as the people who refer to me ‘talking shit’ all the time. It’s often the accusers who instigated shit to begin with. As far as Nica losing to my 12 with Chun. Metric suggests that it is because he among several or many don’t know the “matchup” even though, statistically speaking in terms of Tiers although I don’t give much of a rats ass whatsoever about it, Chun would have little to no trouble hands down. Even Brit admits to the fact the lag was unbearable and playable and still attempts to downplay an actual mutual agreement on both (our) parts that these problems existed thus concludes that we were not at our 100% though her victory automatically means she’s Godly to simple-minded kids. So thanks for the compliment Metric, you actually insulted Nica’s inability to beat my Twelve and that I have the skill (what I bothered to use) necessary to beat Nica (who is referred to as God online and… well, yeah, online) and his excuse was what? He didn’t use her often? Lol, I didn’t even care. I respected the poor guy enough not to post it, but in this case, just for fun and kicks and out of respect, I’ll post.
I don’t care if people seem to think I’m a bad player or so and so, majority of the time I am beating people or even said people making these claims and having a good time about it. A great majority of the time actually enjoy the (often unnecessary) show I put on with the constant attempts to parry or do this and that. As far as jumping goes, Combofiend incidentally loves to jump around in fighting games as he’s mentioned in a recent podcast with gootecks (I dare you people to start bringing shit to them into this) and he’s an offline pro. I guess you people claim that he too, is a random shit like myself because according to all your logic, jumping every 5 secs or so is scrubby. (Cue a kid showing a video where he doesn’t jump as often, I’m not too familiar with CVS2 and the like, automatically retracting what he said). Interestingly enough, the only people that post in these forums are the general trolls that enjoy drama, the kind-hearted people who actually contribute to the community by complimenting a player on ggs (which several here have said in those threads after playing me).
I play 3rd strike like anyone else plays a game, for fun. And for people to stir drama because one person has not stopped trolling about me for years and continues to hypocritically grudge and perpetuate it towards me, including the poor sentiments of others who think the same way about me but will never do it to my face because they’re pussies even if I forgive them for it then by all means. But yeah, an ignore option wouldn’t work. We all know trolls speak of people in the third person, and as for you insomniacs who actually see Brit who constantly mentions Nica KO or Kenuran insulting me behind my back (Christ), then there you have it. Enjoy.
first off when i played you using chun…i just felt like using chun for the hell of it…it was an easy way to stop you from jumping but either way you still did it…you think your good now just cuz you beat a few ppl by jumping up and down and just cuz you beat my chun?? why dont you play nataku, or exodus, or even kofiend for that matter…since we do play online and we are considered gods online and …WELL ONLINE RIGHT??
your lucky ppl respect you JUST enough to play you…you cant even learn how to play 12, dudley, alex, or even ibuki right…“that I have the skill (what I bothered to use) necessary to beat Nica (who is referred to as God online and… well, yeah, online)”…ive entered tournaments offline FYI…now you must think just cuz this is online that you dont give a shit but look at how much you type in one post…if i ever see your name in top 8 of even a minor tournament in your area then ill more than happily give you respect but until then you just pushed the wrong buttons for me and the funny thing is you did it indirectly…but its as you say ppl who talk shit about me will “never do it to my face because they’re pussies even if I forgive them for it”…trust me the next time you even attempt to play me ill call you a pussy even if you do rant about it for hours in the main chat…thats YOU taking online serious…go ahead quote me…i know you want to cuz you care sooo much right??? oh wait “That’s the beauty of the internet.” ppl like you can always comment on what someone else says about “a game”…but hey you play it for fun so why do you get soooo riled up in the first place about Brit talkin shit about you…its JUST THE INTERNET…according to you
im done:arazz:
I didn’t insult Nica at all, you won in a casual game, online.
:encore: highfive …
I still don’t understand why you keep mentioning me in your posts, I said you talk shit, well because… you do.
Because I’m the only one that talks shit about people, according to you. After all, I only mention you because well… you mentioned me. So, how that still doesn’t make sense is… And winning a casual game doesn’t stop the facts you mentioned regarding what the casual game consisted of, let alone, using it as some sort of knowledge to talk shit and among it, about me.
As far as Nica’s post is concerned, no point reading it except the last line. It’s just the internet. If people respect me just enough to play me, that’s fine by me, most admittedly will compliment or enjoy the bizarre or ridiculous effort I put into doing so, and as far as “playing a char right”, if you’re winning with’em, you’re doing it right as far as fighting games are concerned. So, random smiley .
I don’t care about the majority of peoples opinions, let alone, the usual suspects. If I have to I’ll just bump with the posts made prior to clear things up for a refresher and I look forward to playing you kids eventually when you accept the challenge despite all that you’ve all said (which has happened far more often then I will mention).
Things are cooling down, and my rep is red like passion oh me oh my. (Rage cue)

Most people that are good online are also good offline. Sidewinder is probably the guy that showed us that it’s not because that it is online that it doesn’t mean a shit. The core of the game is the same. So if you are good online, you are also good offline.
that could be true.
i like to believe that.
Slower reactions are rewarded with online play more so than offline play. True skill is judged offline.
that’s true, but we can’t say that someone that is really good online will not be offline. Just check all the greatest online and you’ll see that most of them do damn well offline also.
?
It’s the opposite…generally reacting online is harder than offline, so if someone can still react online, then he should be judged as even better offline (at least when it comes to reaction, which is what you’re talking about).
The problem with the statement “being good online” is that a lot of people equate being good just with winning. Just because you win a lot online doesn’t necessarily mean you’re good online. When someone says “he is good online”, it should mean that he plays the game well, while playing online. Obviously he’s still going to be good offline. If he’s just using lag tactics online, he shouldn’t ever be called a good online player, he should be called a lag abuser.
Edit: Also Dakou shits on every anti-online person here. Dakou is considered probably the best kof98 player in the world, and is the BEST player in the history of fighting game online play, ever. You will never ever think he was playing online if you just saw a video of his online matches.
lol, why am i in this?
“even” implies i m weaker than those 2…how are you qualified to judge?
you ve been running your mouth too much.
“you re doing this wrong. hey! don t do that! that ll get you punished!
in my opinion, i m better than all players alive, geez, i don t even need to leave my house to figure that out. hyuk.”
something about playing online…
i’m sure he was just typing and it came out wrong. i think he knows you placed higher at NEC.
with that said, we need to game if you go on GGPO (2df has too much input delay) since we didn’t get to game at NEC .
its not a matter of placing what.
everyone needs to chill out with this online nonsense, as if it really says anything about a person’s playing ability. i can think of 5 players off the top of my head that gives me a run for my money, online…then gets their shit kicked in offline
i originally played kof online back in the early 2000s, ONLY played online. i can still say with confidence that its garbage and inaccurate.
