Next Smash Bros. Being Made With Namco-Bandai, Apparently

You’re right, it’s pointless for me to argue with a retard like yourself

Man and this could have been a fun thread to.

Here’s what could be done for Final Smashes.

  1. Create a new, balanced super move for everyone with an input of 22B.
  2. Make the Final Smashes like Astral Finishes/Fatalities with specific conditions to activate them and do so doing 236B.

And that extra jump button could easily be a new attack button. Hell, they might as well go like Virtua Fighter and do strings as well.

Yeah getting some more normals would be cool or another set of specials possibly.

Casuals don’t like directional inputs. Final Smashes should be done with L+R+A+B at the same time. Supers should just be done with L+R+B.

smash ain’t gonna be competitve, Sakurai is going to make sure of that. And asking for a third attack button, are you people for real? The game would then become too damn complicated for people.

Casuals are wimps who are afraid to try anything new. But yeah, that’s definitely another input option.

By the way Fighter Kirby in Return to Dreamland can do fireballs using the classic fireball motion.

Yes, well, like it or not, they’re Nintendo’s meal ticket. So they’ll naturally go with easier inputs.

The Metroid Prime games have used every single on their respective controllers and no one bitched about that. I highly doubt there will be too much complaints about a new set of attacks to choose from.

Wait… shit.

I forgot, the Wii U doesn’t have ports for Gamecube controllers.

Well fuck, now what? You have to buy either four of those tablet screen controllers or four wiimote/nunchuk combos.

Neither are desirable options.

Fuck off Nintendo just fuck off.

Wii U Pro Controller

An arcade stick option would be nice.

Wow, they really just switched the analog sticks with the buttons and d-pad to pretend they made it from scratch.

Holy shit that is something.

I’m wondering if Nintendo isn’t based in China right now.

I would vote more normals. Changing the core game I think may bring in more appeal for other fighting game enthusiasts.

The Smash style gameplay doesn’t have to be bastardized, but if they want to expand it’s fanbase they would have to start at the basics.

Oh yeah, that’s why I hate Nintendo. Almost forgot.

IDK, it’s gonna be tough to adjust to, but I think it’s got potential. At least that means my hands won’t cramp up as much while playing Katamari.

It seriously doesn’t look natural at all, it looks worse than this.

Or even this.

The Gamecube controller was surprisingly comfortable, I won’t even lie.

I forgot about the WiiU Pro. That’s almost as bad as the Sony Move!

Almost.

Thank you, I’m here all week!

What the hell is the point of having three completely different controllers announced before launch? This clinches that Nintendo doesn’t have a strategy going into this at all.

Oh dear god, please die, Nintendo. I don’t want to have to buy your shitty consoles to play your shitty games. I want Smash Bros. on Xbox Live.

it doesn’t matter, this game will be marketed as a party game, and will be a party game. If Sakurai is in charge there is no denying it, and thus, a third option will be to much for the causal gamer; therefore, it will not happen.

I once had a dream where I played a real sequel to Metriod Prime 2 Echoes. Sadly, it was only a dream.

Sakurai’s not in charge, this is a joint collaboration. Namco has equal input otherwise they wouldn’t have any part in this.

Being able to config the buttons would be nicer.

A controller you can use to pleasure yourself can never be bad. WiiU Pro doesn’t have this. What a terrible controller
