1 the first time i played you was at MGl and i was practicing Pgroove due to a BET…i was not allowed to use any groove besides P!! that was months ago since feb i think…now that the bet if finally off. i won that bet!..
i’m going back to A groove! …but i seem to parry while in A …so i need time to adjust back…and relearn the customs.

Gf2… I guess by the way you post things and make sugguestions that either people are taking it the wrong way (I don’t think so tho) Or what you post is just u being arrogant i ono. All I’m saying is as a player I respect you and that’s fine, but when you start giving people sugguestions and making assumptions it just may only cause drama…As far as confusion goes he’s a good player… He’s one of the few players who I know that can adjust to how I play very quickly and I can’t use the same trick on him twice… To go even further he can pretty much OCV me with just about any of his characters on his team.And he did do well @ Evo last year… Gf2 no one is disrespecting you or anything like that, you just need 2 be careful about what you say and what post because how it is interpeted can cause a lot of drama ya kno… And GF2 the only way you’re ever going to get better is by attending other tourney’s and playing more comp besides the one @ tilt…One

If the other guy you were with reads this and feels the same way, then you both can forget I even said anything.
Just know I meant no offense by it. You’re no scrub, and it’s not like I’m trying to put down your skill. It’s normal for people to give advice to each other on this site, even if they probably don’t need it. It’s only sportsmanlike conduct. I don’t think this place would be as good as it is without it. Today, it just ‘looked’ to me that you were trying to go for something else when you fucked up on the CCs. It was simply hard to tell, because other than those last mishaps when you were almost outta meter, it did look like you were going to pull off a whole CC each time. I even hoped you were going to do more damage than me with the variation that I use.
But see, I don’t fully know how you play the game personally. No matter how many times I see you, I never will. I know you’re not a bad player, but I also don’t know what you do for every conceivable situation, much less what you know you have to do. See where I’m coming from? Besides, we both know it’s a only a damn game, and an insignificant one at that. Skill or no skill, there are better things worth fighting over than this.

But anyway, I post that because it’s the truth. It doesn’t matter who won or who’s the better player. If you haven’t guessed already, I don’t give a shit about that, just having fun. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be heading down to Tilt or entering tourneys. Because what would the point be? If I lose, the only thing I’d be pissed about is if I didn’t make a good effort. Not because of the other guy fucking up, but because of what I’ve been doing the whole match. And I can tell you I’ve been putting more effort into this game in less than a year since I got the home version, back when I was still losing to scrub Blankas. You’d think with a guy like Brandon who placed third in a tourney under Choi and Ricky, I wouldn’t have the skill to do shit against him. Apparently, that’s not what he thinks. In fact, I even won a match with CX right after the last tourney, who you lost to in the tourney before that. So IMO, the results could be random, because however many times I lost to Player X doesn’t mean shit to me when I consider all my better achievements. That’s how it was for me at MGL. I remember beating misconceptn a couple times right after he beat this one guy that was owning the FUCK out of everybody with a top-tier team. Look how many times he’s beating me now and how he’s one of the few I have hard times with in contrast to other peeps that can give him good matches. Obviously, he’s become a better player than me since then. But if I can still bring his last character down to about 60% life or less, then that’s good enough for me, because I could’ve done a lot worse.

Like how you thought I was whining that you shouldn’t have beat me in that first tourney at Tilt because it was by a fluke, despite how I made no such implication. I just like to talk about my matches. It’s not the same as talking shit about you behind your back, so why should it be problem? Seriously? I still don’t see why you or anyone here would perceive me as being arrogant because this is where I’m most outspoken, but I didn’t mean to sound as such. I don’t think it was a matter of me telling anyone what’s good for them as much as it was encouragement. That’s what my intent was. However, since everyone seems to think I wanted to get these kinds of responses, I don’t see the point anymore. Confuzsion’s a swell guy, and I see no reason to talk shit to him or anything, not even from this. He just clearly wants nothing to do with me, even if what I say isn’t offensive. But ultimately, I’m sensitive to people, so I’ll refrain from commenting from now on if that’s what you guys wish. Hell, you can put me on Ignore for all I care. It was an honest mistake. Anyways, yeah, I respect Confuzsion even more now for getting that rank at Evolution. When I think about all the times playing him, I feel more confident. I’m even planning on going this year myself, so here’s hopin’ we get to play more good games till then.
I’d take up that last suggestion too, but problem is, I don’t have the freedom to go to those tourneys that you guys do. Until I can start traveling more, I’ll continue to enjoy all of my matches at Tilt because the comp over there surely hasn’t been this good before.
If you guys still try to do this tourney, a lot of people aren’t going to be there, including me. This tourney at Sunnyvale is going to be a larger tourney. There is no need to try to compete with it. It’s been posted for at least over a month now. Trying to hold another tourney would make it seem like you’re trying to split up the community.

Holding a seperate tourney on the same day isn’t always splitting up the community. Heck, we do that all the time at Newpark. But, this isn’t just another saturday tourney at SVGL. It’s a larger tourney. All of the good players will be there. I would expect lots of out of towners to be there.
If you guys really want a tourney next saturday, go right ahead and have it. But, I doubt there will be half the turnout that we normally get. I could understand if it was a major tourney somewhere else, like in SoCal or further, but Sunnyvale is about a half an hour away from Newpark. There isn’t too much excuse not to go.

Yeah, I like matches I get into where wins go back and forth. It’s more fun that way, and that I’m slowly catching up to people that had more exposure to comp adds to the motivation. I gotta find a job soon so I can do it more often.
So tell me, which one were you? I don’t recall facing a lot of guys there giving me even matches 'cept one person that uses Ryu/Akuma/Chun-Li, and an Asian dude that calls himself ‘Ryu’ (he placed fourth last tourney).
I used to practice all the time at home out of sheer boredom. Not that it helped much ‘cuz I don’t have a stick. And anyway, I could only practice at Tilt now because my fuckin’ TV just broke down. Lousy piece of shit. :bluu:
