I wanted to open this thread for all of the players who stop by NewPark Mall Tilt…There are quite a few people who stop by and play there…Just wanted a spot to chat at…

Yeah they have MvC2,and CvS2…And alot of random players stop by…Comp is usually there from 4:30 - 7:45…(esitmated time)
I have been playing there alot more…

i live in fremont i come through to tilt every now and then.any body play tekken4 or tekken tag.halla at me maybe we could play.oh and i do play cvs2 but i suck.

So seriously, is there gonna be any competition at Tilt on friday or what? I feel like some cvs2, i’ll just head straight to MGL if there isn’t gonna be any comp at tilt. Seems like some golfland heads been goin to Tilt. Lemme know wassup

I been there once in a while during the weekend. Usually on Saturday around noon. Sometimes there’s alot of heads, other times Tilt runs out of quarters so, not so many heads. The players there are somewhat random strength. You will see weak,average, and stronger players there. And talking about cheap players,if you see a guy that uses ratio 4 KEN. Beat the sheit! out of him BADLY!. I mean it… he plays like 50% turtles and 50% throws… for CvS2, and he also kills time if his energy bar is higher than yours… Hahaha… so Watch out for that BITCH!!!

i just called one of the mall stores and it looks like the mall closes at 9 tonight… so yea try and get there early…if not maybe ill see you at mgl cuz i might head there after newpark closes too.
To everyone that showed up, sorry for leaving so abruptly. My mom had to go somewhere around 9, so she came half-hour till and jabbed me in the back when I was waiting for my next turn.
My predictions were right all along: B is more troublesome in S-Groove. It was a close match one time between his Bison and my Geese when the other black dude he was sharing it with picked C for him, but with S, it took all my characters just to beat Sagat down.
Maybe it’s just me, but that black dude he was with appears to be better with C-Sagat. So what’s weird is that when I switched my Rugal out for Rolento on my A-Groove team this one time, it was actually close between me and him, when B was talkin’ to the clerk the whole time. Sure, I may have lost the first round with Rolento, but I felt I did a better job with him against his Sagat then I usually did with Geese and Iori.
But still, I hadn’t beaten him or B once, and on that one credit, B’s friend was still Lv.2 cancelling on me. shrug Oh well, I didn’t do too bad, as always. Still good to be average. I could’ve done a lot better if that fuckin’ fierce button wasn’t messed up, but overall, those were good games.

-B.:cool:yea i know what you mean him and his friend had something like 28 wins in c-groove… and then i saw his s-groove i was like "Damn!"shit was crazy i never seen s-grove used like that before only other decent s-groove was misconceptn. he prbably would have beat his old record if tilt wasn’t going to close. and i agree with you about his friend being better with c-sagat… but either way he was whoppin ass… i only managed to kill his sagat once or twice…it took all 3 of my characters to do it…and i think i only did it cuz he was fucking around…lol after newpark closed i went to mgl…hella people there… misconceptn was there as well as one of the asian guys that was at tilt earlier… and ricky ortiz was there… i was surprised to see him cuz i thought he went back to the east coast…but i only played cvs2 once and played 3s a bunch before i cut out of there too…overall i had a fun day… i just wish i could get better so i could be considered average… instead of shitty… lol im out
Okay, lets start pestering the manager there about the damn controls and make sure they do something about the loose buttons and the semi-unresponsive fierce on P1’s side. The joysticks could use a little check-up as well.
