Would a PSP with custom firmware count as a “Modded” system? It’s never been opened or tampered with, just a different firmware is loaded onto the PSP.
yes it would, all updates must be made officially through sony.
I can’t do that on a Tapatalk iphone app for some reason
I thought bumping your own thread was not allowed?
Not without a price drop. Why? Repeat offender?
What happen if you add new item or new pics?
Ah yes sorry. Forgot about those. Price drops, new items, new pics. Just don’t post “bump” or “still for sale” kinda shit.
if i get an offer on something and they have my paypal info, what’s the longest i should have to wait before selling it to the next person who wanted it.
I see the “bump” all the time. I shall start reporting it more. (sorry for the delay. I forgot i asked that in this thread lol.)
So this question may be very obvious but I just wanted to get it double checked so I don’t get in trouble. With the having to be a member for 6 months and having to 50 posts to sell and trade items, I could still buy items correct? Or can I not buy items either?
You can buy. The rule applies to selling.
Never really thought about it until now… But does the Trading Outlet allow the buying or selling of slot machines or any other gambling device? I know that for example things like weapons are frowned upon because they’re dangerous or that modded systems promote piracy but whats the verdict on things pertaining to gambling?
Oh wow, i didn’t really know about the weapons thing so thats good to know for the future… now with that im actually quite curious about the gambling thing as well… any thoughts anyone?
I’d like to make a Steam Coupon/Game trading thread. Would this go in the trading outlet, or in a different thread? Would I also need to put WTT in the thread title if I’m letting everyone participate? (ex: “WTT: SRK Steam Trading Thread” or just “SRK Steam Trading Thread”?)
Mmm any acts of trading or the like must have WTT in the title for indication, buying WTB or both varying the situation. Any goods or services within our rules that are fair to trade can go here.
Works for me, thanks! (off topic, you need to post in prem more!)
^^^I kno rite ;p?
Also really quick (since I missed that discussion up there), there seems to be some confusion to the modding styles about people bumping threads for the sake of keeping their business atop the page header. Originally, MegamanDS required sellers to drop prices of about 5% on goods/services per bump, but I’m not sure if he’s still keeping up with that. Dropping prices is a GOOD way of tempting a consumer to make a transaction with you, but this is just me speaking here…
Generally speaking, I do overlook SOME bumps because I understand that times are hard with this shitty economy right now (and people HAVE to make money really fast in some situations). But sellers, if it is apparent that nobody is going to make a transaction with you then either drop your price or take it to ebay/amazon/craglist/whatever. In short, I do not like to see this:
bump
bump
bump
bump
bump
bump
bump
bump
bump
hmmm, ahh fuck it bump!
bump
bump
So, please try to understand that if the item is not selling then it could be for various reasons. I will delete constant bumping post, but if it gets out of control then I will intervene more harshly.
To those who were in the process of doing business with "ITATTRACTS"
Yes he was banned. He was warned twice about not doing business before reaching the requirements and did it anyway. His little Spartacus PM sealed the deal. If you still have contact with him somehow you can continue doing business with him but don’t contact a mod if it goes south.
For the record, just because apparently it needs to be restated:
1)Read the rules
2)If you acknowledge the rules and how you’re breaking them in your thread, we won’t be as lenient
3) If you think us enforcing rules to help people not get screwed is a power trip, then I’m sorry for you.
"There is a rule against requesting payments via PayPal gift here"
What does this mean exactly ? I’m not really familiar with paypal .
When you send a payment with PayPal, you have to select if it is for a purchase transaction or a personal transaction. You have no protection against being scammed if you submit payment via PayPal gift. It is only allowed if both parties agree to it, but you cannot request it.
